5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant so far
I got this for our work when we are travelling in the UK.I have found the 3 network to be pretty reliable as compared to others when trying to connect in certain areas. It also is being used as a back up when we are home when the house broadband is being a bit slow( we have 2 work from home work stations both using internet). You have to walk around the house finding the areas that see the 5G signal best. This will depend on your area and it will be worth checking coverage for 3 in your area before comitting..We got a swan-neck phone holder so that we can suspend the mifi gadget in the best area for us indoors and it works pretty well and can get stupid fast download speeds when set up with 5 mhz wifi and matches the house broadband when set up as 2.4mhz (upload is better on the lower setting). You get 4g or 3g if it cant get the 5G signal for any reason. If you can afford the initial purchase price, it is very good value over the life of the sim, much much better than a monthly subscription standard sim.I had no setting up to do with it.This might be because I put it in a mobile hotspot type mifi and not in a phone but for me, it was put it in, turn it on and use it.You do need to keep tally of your useage yourself, you cant register it on 3 and see it that way.If your using a lappy with it, you can generally find a program that will do the tallying for you and some mifi gadgets will do it. Android phones can be set up to show the months data use and reset on a certain date so thats a way to do it if running through a phone.Very happy with this and hope they are still available when we need another.

5.0 out of 5 stars Oustanding
Cant be beaten for price using the THREE network. I had a few problems at first but that was because I was hotspotting the SIM out from my phone. Signal was rubbish but I live in a bad area for signal. That was rectified by buying a dedicated Data SIM router with an extended LTE antenna. Signal and data is now excellent. Goodbye broadband forever. And the beauty is I can just pop the SIM in my phone if I need. Personal internet on the go everywhere for an unbeatable price.
1.0 out of 5 stars Far less speed than a contract sim on the same network be careful
It started off similar speed to my 3 contract sim but within a matter of 2/3 days went to literally unuseable and I mean my smart devices all dropped out, nothing would connect and I couldn't even browse web sites - they timed out or just wouldn't load. Put my 3 contract pay monthly sim in and everything works with an acceptable (40m d/l & 14m u/l) speed that I have enjoyed for over 3 years, so that's the same network and same hardware just the sim has changed. If something is too good to be true as we know it normally is and this in my experience for me was no exception. I even went on microsofts site and dowloaded a huge ISO file and it shows the same results, to me it 100% conclusive that these are capped/throttled/shared or restricted by some means, the sim number has even been programmed so you can't see what it is yet conveniently every time shows 100% signal strength . . . .. I have uploaded snapshots of what I was getting, tbh I have had better speeds connecting on old phone dial up lines back in the day.
4.0 out of 5 stars Great sim and good price
Currently using in a Zyxel nr5103e 5G router and works great. I've had a few sims from scancom and all have been fine. Only issue is the customer support... There isn't any. You can send many messages and they tell you it's been sent to tech support, you can call up multiple times and they say tech will contact you. They never do!
5.0 out of 5 stars Sadly it does not work well at my area, but contented with the helpful Customer service for refund!
At first, I was happy with the product; it had a great price and worked with the 4G router. However, after using it for 1 week, I found that there was no upload speed (as shown). I was frustrated and contacted the Scancom WhatsApp customer service. They acknowledged the situation and allowed me to have a full refund, even though it could not be done on Bolo. I then purchased the EE unlimited one, which was more expensive but worked well (~10MB, all because of London's poor coverage, but it's good enough for my daily tasks). In general, I am happy with the customer service's responsiveness and help. Thank you so much!
