    Supplied with a strange ill-fitting leather holder, no instructions for using the macro or wide angle lenses supplied, although the extra lenses did actually have lens covers

    For this price point this is a really well made camcorder. It checks a lot of boxes that something at this price normally would not. Such things as wifi connectivity and an app, included microphone (more on that) and plenty of abilities to boot such as 4k recording and more.The performance is a bit a slow overall but that's to be expected. The picture quality is good but much of the menu navigation and the like are a bit delayed but what can you expect at this price. Also, the microphone it comes with works but may be a bit over sensitive and not the best.Other features of note is it can be used as a webcam though, it's light sensitivity could be an issue in some specific use cases (like how i use a green screen). But other than that it works fantastic.If you need a basic well running camcorder I can't find any reason not to suggest this one.

    I was surprised that this was directed towards kids as this is a fully functioning video camera that adults will enjoy as well. Good batter life and image quality.

    I am really impressed at the quality of this "kids" camera, and all that you get. This is not in any way toy-ish, at all. It has a ton of features, comes with two lenses, a microphone, 2 batteries, the needed cable to transfer pictures to your pc, an understandable users guide (while that may sound funny, so much of the stuff I review has useless directions, so this is refreshing!), charging cable, SD card, and a lens cleaning cloth. The only thing you supply is your own case. It is very well made for what it is, and is an excellent starter camera for a child who has an interest in photography. I think it would even be a good basic camera for an adult who just wants something simple, but would like a few extras to go along with it. And the price for what you get is amazing! The only thing I had a little bit of trouble with was the focus, but, I think it is me and not the camera. When I first tested it out, it focused automatically…I hit some things (I’m the person who can prove you wrong when someone says “Don’t worry, you can’t erase anything”...well, yes, yes, I can - without trying)(it seems to be my specialty) and now I am adjusting it, but the problem I am finding is that once I get it focused, if I then try and take a picture, I wind up un-focusing it since the focus and the button you use to take the picture are one and the same. I really just need to take some time and pour over the instructions. The pictures are pretty good - definitely way better than what I expected, and I am betting that if you really sat down and played with the settings and adjustments, you could make them even better. For what it is, what’s included, and for the price point, I would highly recommend this!!
