'Tension II', the high-energy, high-octane partner of the Number 1 album and global smash 'Tension', sees Kylie head further into the electronic space, and is packed full of dance floor anthems. The collection of 13 songs includes 9 brand new Kylie studio tracks as well as the latest dance hit 'Edge of Saturday Night' with The Blessed Madonna, plus collaborations with Orville Peck, Bebe Rexha, Tove Lo and Sia.

4.0 out of 5 stars Tension 2
Lifelong Kylie fan. So of course I am going to enjoy this album. Tension 1 was still on my playlist (love love that album) and I was pleasantly surprised that we didn't get a re-issue . Instead we are treated to a brand new albumI have 3 stand out tracks on the album:Opening single "lights camera action" it's pop/dance perfection. and what follow is more great upbeat dance/pop/disco.Taboo with it's infectious abba disco vibe could have easily sat comfortably on the Aphrodite album. Love it.The Blessed madonna colab "Edge of Saturday night" which I wasn't keen on at first has really grown on me and sits great on this album. Not so keen on the other colabs. My oh my, midnight ride and dance alone are just dud pop songs in my ears (would have expected better from Sia too) hence only 4 stars for this albumThe album is easy to listen to but leans ever so slightly into being very samey. Saved by a few tracks. I think I prefer tension 1. With most of the tracks averaging 2 and half minutes, I really dislike the way modern pop music just for those with short attention spans.I have big beef with the style of packaging of the album. A really cheep cardboard case for the cd. Please for us collectors, can we have jewel case options. These digipacks are nasty. The clear vinyl is nicely presented in a lush gatefold. As a lifelong fan, I am happy to celebrate Kylie's 10th number one album in the UK. On parr with Abba, Michael Jackson, Queen & coldplay. Go girl!!!Buy this album for the first 10 tracks and skip the last three.
5.0 out of 5 stars Queen Kylie
Great complimentary album to last years Tension.Took a few listens but loving the vibe of these tracks. Some europop, some dance, some house…not keen on Kylies vocals being treated by electronic effects, as really does have a beautiful voice, but it works fine in context of this (dance) album. The songs are a bit short in length as well, as it seems to be the rage to get them on Tik Tok, so no doubt there will be an extended versions album at some point which I will buy also… as the DISCO and Tension extended versions really enchanted those brilliant tracks.Looks like this is heading to number one, her tenth.Kylie is definitely one of the most underrated pop stars of this generation…She says her next album will be a bit like Impossible Princess , I hope so as this is what keeps Kylie fresh and relevant by trying and doing different things.Would love to see her go a bit more “rocky” like Some Kinda of Bliss.
2.0 out of 5 stars Rating the product not the music - it really isn't very good!
I'm rating the product here, not the music, that's the first things to say.Kylie’s latest album delivers some stellar tracks with infectious beats and strong vocals that complement the first outing: Tension. Kylie, as always, brings her A-game to the music itself, maintaining her princess of pop status. But...The mastering of this vinyl record disappoints. The production quality seems lacking, with uneven sound levels and a a really high level mix with sibilance detracting from the overall experience all the way through, getting worse towards the label. In addition at least one of the tracks is different in mix from the CD / Streaming version and inexplicably the track order is different too.Vinyl enthusiasts expecting crisp and clear playback may find themselves let down by this release - noise between tracks and a lot of sssssssssss. While the music is massively enjoyable as always, the technical flaws hinder what could have been a top-tier album and I'm afraid it can't be in my collection.
5.0 out of 5 stars A sexier tension
I would rate it 4.5 / 5 by there isn’t an option so 5 stars , sucks that at least one person in these reviews had a bad experience with the vinyl, not ok , but as the vinyl is purely to look at for me , not an issue , 11 of the 13 tracks are stellar for me and the vocals and production is a step up as well
