    Our cat is very happy with her new feeder. I’m updating my previous review to reflect that this company replaced our feeder after our original one stopped working after 3 months. After trouble shooting for a couple of days, they sent us a new one. Thank you for standing behind your product!

    As a new cat mom, I hemmed and hawed over buying an automatic feeder, but it's been one of the smartest pet purchases I've made thus far. I bought it about three months ago and love it! This feeder is not only adorable and fits in well with my other decor, but was extremely easy to set up. I use all four meals, and it holds ~two weeks worth of food for my medium-large cat. My schedule varies so I'm often away from home during mealtime, and no longer have to rely on roommates, wake up early, or race home for to feed my cat. I love that it gives me flexibility as a young person to spend a night away from home when needed or to go out on day trips. If you're a pet parent with a busy schedule, I can't recommend it enough!EDIT: I have had this feeder for about 8 months now. It remains one of the best cat purchases I've made since adopting in February of 2022.Some caveats — yes, there is an option to plug the feeder into the wall or use battery power. It takes three size D batteries, which I never have on hand, so I opted for plug in power and haven't bothered to change it since. The only time this becomes an issue is when the power goes out or when I travel with my cat. My house was struggling with power outages over the summer due to running multiple AC units and we'd have to reset the breaker sometimes multiple times a day. The clock on the feeder would reset to noon every single time and mess up his mealtimes unless I remembered to manually change it. It's a bit annoying to change the clock, but still not a total dealbreaker. However, I will be ordering some batteries so that I don't have to worry about it while I'm out of town.Second caveat — my cat is 12.5 lbs and eats four meals a day of varying serving sizes on this thing. The serving sizes are pretty arbitrary in my opinion and they probably vary depending on what kind of kibble your cat eats. The actual pieces of kibble (Hills adult cat food) I feed my cat are pretty large, so he runs through the entire thing in about 10 days, not two weeks as I originally thought. Again, not a dealbreaker, but something to keep in mind if you travel or are out of the house frequently. Knowing what I know now I would probably order the larger size, but I do like how the smaller one is easier to travel with when I take him on vacation with me.

    The Dogness 6L pet feeder works great and was easy to setup. Allowed us to feed our two cats manually from afar when our pet sitter wasn't able to come. We will continue to use the automatic scheduled feedings for mornings on days we want to sleep in and not be bugged by the cats:)The only thing that hasn't worked is the Voice Recording. It hasn't been easy to setup and I haven't gotten it to work at all. That said its not a feature that was important to us and everything else works great.

    I waited after using one month to leave the review, I love this product!!! It’s so smart to invent something like this for pet owners, no more over feeding or under feeding. It will automatically tracking the potion your pet had every day, you don’t have to worry to feed your pet at end of the day when you got home and all the food storage is super large, you don’t have to refill very often, you can easily set up the feeding time and potion, (it came with smaller food dispenser for smaller dog, I have big dog, so I don’t have how it works for small dogs) i didn’t realize how convenient the smart feeder is until I started using it, and now I can’t live without it, i also got the water fountain to put on the top of the feeder
