    Appearance is much more attractive than the ones issued by the NHS. Which means more likely to wear especially when going out as it doesn't have that medical look about it.I found the small/medium to give adequate support and comfort for my small hands. The length of the straps means it can be adjusted easily.I have to wear a thumb support for arthritis pain. The supports issued by NHS can't be slept in, but this one I can sleep in and found I had no issues wearing it to bed.It offers good level of support, comes in a handy bag for storage.Happy to recommend, it's a good product for the price.

    This is my second review of this particular hand brace. I was so impressed with the first one that I immediately ordered another in a different colour to differentiate between left and right splints. I suffer from chronic tenosynovitis, carpal tunnel and nerve damage in both hands. I need a brace which, above all, immobilises the thumb. These FREETOO braces are as good as, if not better, than anything I have received on the NHS. The brace is made from a lightweight, slightly flexible fabric which is secured in place with three velcro straps, one around the top of the thumb, one around the mid-section and one just above the wrist. It stays in place securely, even for overnight use. The splint is designed to work for either the left or right hand. I personally find the fit is more natural on my right hand, but they do a good enough job on my left so I am happy with both of mine. Well worth the retail price.

    I have occasional arthritic flare ups in several of my fingers, and my right thumb is one of them. I work from home and use a keyboard daily, this splint really helped me during my last flare up and did not hinder my typing at all. It is quick and easy to fit, and comfortable in use. Would recommend this item

    i ordered the medium size for my mother who is in her 70's as she has an issue with her wrist and thumb.She has used this a few times and reports it supports her wrist and thumb well and is comfortable to wear.The price seems fare at £12.99

    Neatly made of good quality materials, put together well, should give a long life.The 2 'bionic' support bars run from the mid thumb joint. arch around the thumb muscle ending about 1" into the wrist.While your sitting still our not using the hand it's faily comfortable, giving support and aid if you're movinghand a little. However in this really hot weather have found its gets a sweaty, even with the breath holes.In moment I found the 2 'bionic' bars dug into my wrist as you moved the thumb and hand about, after 1 hr had to take it off as the running was quite sore.It dies give support, easing the pain sowewhat, but for me found the bars rubbing and digging, really uncomfortable and had to take it off. Others with less movement should find some benefits wearing this.Fits both hands so good in that respect.

    I got this for my husband who has been struggling with thumb pain for a while.He wears this brace all the time. It comes on easy and supports his thumb. He is telling me pain is easing quite a bit and it is comfortable to wear.It is well made and I find the price of £12.99 fair for what you are getting.

    This is a really good, sturdy support. It is lightweight and soft and the design is fairly subtle - it looks a bit like a cycling glove rather than an bulky medical device! It is perfect for keeping my thumb steady throughout the day. The three straps are in the right place and the strap around the thumb is flexible enough that you can fasten it in place to suit the shape of your own hand. The more rigid bit inside to straighten the thumb has a some padding which makes it comfortable to wear.The only downside is that I couldn't work (at the computer) whilst wearing it as it limited my ability to grip the mouse properly.I would highly recommend this product, I think it's really going to help me keep my hands in a more natural position throughout the day.
