This is a review of 'Small Batch, Whipped Beef Tallow Face Moisturizer - 100% Grass Fed & Finished With Manuka Honey, Beef Tallow For Face, Beef Tallow Moisturizer, Beef Tallow Face Cream - 57g (2pack)'.This is a set of 2 jars of moisturiser. I had not tried beef tallow moisturisers before but had heard about the benefits so i was very excited to try these. Upon opening the jar there is a unique 'whipped' texture of the cream that is very airy and light. My skin is oily so i was reluctant to try this on my face but i tried it on my very dry legs as a body butter. The beef tallow makes the cream mostly fat based which means it moisturises very well and quite deeply which is what I needed for my dry ankles. The moisturiser spreads very well and goes a long way. It doesn't have any kind of discernable smell which is nice. I find this keeps my skin moisturised for about 24 hours which is good for me. The jars are small so it's probably better suited as a face cream as it's intended. I find that although the cream is made of beef tallow, it doesn't feel particularly heavy or greasy. It does take lightly longer than my usual moisturiser to sink into the skin. It's also packaged in glass jars rather than plastic which is a huge plus for me. Overall I really like the product and would use it again.

Being a whipped cream moisturiser makes this product far easier to remove a bit from the jar than a balm, and spread across the desired location of skin.It spreads extremely well and is very easily absorbed into my skin. Straight away dry skin looks moisterised as this is applied to it.I haven't noticed any strong fragrance from this product. It seems to be rather neutral.There is not much product in each of the jars. A little bit does go a long way. Although if covering large areas then it will be depleted quickly. Best to use on small areas of skin which need hydrating and as a face and neck moisturiser.Being contained in rather compact jars makes it ideal for packing in a toiletry bag for business trips and holidays. It also won't take up too much space at home.

I have a super sense. Smell. So when a product says it's scent free I often think "we'll see". This tallow smells like beef fat to me. It's possible you won't but I do & I'm a little bit unsure how happy I am about smelling like the Sunday roast. However, it's always possible & I have tried it so this is what I think:My jar came very well wrapped in bubble wrap & the jar has a serious plastic seal all around the jar with the lid very tightly sealed. This didn't stop oil from dripping all over the place. I had to remove the bubble wrap, cut off the plastic seal while trying to hold onto a very slippery greasy jar, then open the lid & try to wipe off the excess. That didn't work so I put the jar lid back on & washed the whole thing with washing up liquid. By then I was feeling less like trying this tallow anywhere else because I felt like I was covered in it.It smells like beef fat, there's no getting away from that. Once the jar was opened I have no idea whether it's supposed to be solid like cooled fat or be more like a cream because so much oil had escaped. What I had was like solid fat. A tiny tiny amount goes on for acres. I rubbed it into my wrist to give it the patch test in case of any reactions as if I wasn't already covered in it. It seems to sit on the surface for a long time like you spilled your cooking oil by accident. I believe it takes a few days to weeks before you see a difference in your skin but I'm not sure I'm going to go the full course.This product contains Manuka but there's no honey smell but at least it isn't sticky like honey. 850 MGO is considered high strength so that's a good thing. Tallow is bursting with good things as is the honey but whether applying to skin topically is better than ingesting is a question.I can't tell you whether this is a good product or not. It may be a dream come true for you but it's expensive which tallow is not & I'm not convinced about the honey. It's your call.

My wife really wasn't too keen on this when she first applied it to her face before bed; she said it felt like smearing lard on it, and I must admit it felt that way a bit too when I touched it. So I/we thought that this would be a low star review.Come the morning she had changed her mind completely; all of the greasiness had gone (she has an oily Mediterranean skin type, so that's important to her) and she said her skin felt beautifully soft. "So this is a keeper, is it?" I asked. "Oh yes, definitely! 5 stars". "So I'm not giving the second jar to someone else to try?" "No way! It's mine!"On top of that, you'll find Manuka honey added to a lot of products nowadays; it's a thing, made special by the presence of methylglyoxal (MGO) from the pollen of the leptospermum scoparium bush native to Australia and New Zealand. However, if you look at the small print you'll also find that most products have it at very low levels - the official New Zealand certification organisation doesn't recognise it as having any therapeutic value until it achieves an MGO rating of 300 or more, which most other things I've reviewed don't come near to achieving. Well, the MGO of the manuka in this moisturizer is over 850! I don't know how much honey is in the mix percentage wise, but that's certainly a very good number, and it's nice to think that its inclusion is more than simply to put a buzz word on the label.So there you have it. Recommended.

This moisturizer has a whipped consistency to it as you can see by my photos. As soon as I put it on my skin it began to melt into it. It did take a bit of time to fully absorb into the skin so I suggest putting it on about an hour before bed. It does have a slight smell of beef lard to me but it wasn't enough to put me off of using it. It is beef fat so of course it's going to smell like beef. The company could have used a bunch of fragrance oil to disguise the smell but they are a company that prefers to use natural ingredients so I can see why they didn't add anything to it. I personally found it very hydrating on my dry skin and will continue to use it.
Amazing moisturizer with just 2 pure ingredients
I recently became aware of beef tallow moisturizer and have been using it for a little while. When I ran out I went searching for a new supply and found this EVA NATURALS Small Batch Whipped Beef Tallow Face Moisturizer – 100% Grass-Fed & Finished with Manuka Honey and decided to order it.When you receive this product there are two 2oz jars each bubble wrapped to protect them during shipping. The jars are shrink sealed as well for added safety.This product contains only 2 ingredients - 100% USA grass fed and finished rendered beef tallow and 850+ mgo 20+ UMF raw New Zealand manuka honey. That is it nothing else just two natural ingredients. This is a refreshing change from other products that contain a list of ingredients that is a mile long and almost impossible to pronounce. I was really impressed with the fact that the beef is grass fed and grass finished as many beef products are grass fed but grain finished which is inferior. Also, the New Zealand manuka honey is a very high quality. The moisturizer is made in the USA and is not tested on animals. The product I received has an expiry date of 09/27/2026.It's great that there are just 2 natural pure ingredients but if it doesn't moisturize effectively then it really does matter how pure and natural it is. Well, after about a month of regular use I can say that this is an amazing product. It applies easily and really moisturizes dry skin. It is a thicker product but still applies quite easily. It does absorb into your skin but it takes a little while to do it. The product has no smell to speak of so is great for people who might be sensitive to odours.Overall, I'm really glad that I discovered beef tallow moisturizer. It is pure and natural and contains just simple ingredients and it works. If you are in the market for a moisturizer then this product is definitely worthy of your consideration. great moisture surge
Love this new cream, be aware so it's very greasy feel, so it's for extreme dry skin or after sunbathing or like me from having peeling and flaking occurring for using Tretinoin cream, I put a bit on my hand and rub it together so it melts and dab it on my face, I put it on first thing in the morning and let it soak in till after breakfast when I put my makeup on. It will give your face a glossy dewy look!
Absorbs quickly, no scent and seems very hydrating without being oily
Just used it for the first time today. Happy with how it applies and absorbs into my skin. My only complaint it that the package did leak a bit, even though it was completely sealed. It felt greasy taking it out of the bubble wrap it was sent in. Not a great first impression but the product seems good. :)
Great Moisturizer, Doesn’t Reduce Redness
My go-to skin moisturizer has been a mixture shea butter and coconut oil, but I have found that it just hasn’t cut in on my face or legs lately. My legs would be flakey at the end of the day and my face would need extra applications throughout the day and due to other health issues would have a redness to it. I recently switched to Cerave and this has been much better for long-term moisturizing and reducing the redness of my cheeks. But I really would prefer something more natural so I decided to give this tallow and honey moisturizer a try.This is a whipped moisturizer, so like coconut oil, it’s going to turn to liquid and resolidify if it is heated up, which makes it more dense again and gives it less of the whipped texture. It is best to keep this at room temperature to maintain it’s nice whipped texture, which allows it to spread and absorb so much easier.I have used this for a couple weeks on my face and found that it does a great job at moisturizing my skin. I apply in the morning and before I go to bed and this is adequate to keep the skin moist. I appreciate that there is very little smell to the product and what you do smell is more the honey then the tallow. I find you only need small amount and it goes a long ways on your face. Unfortunately, the redness returned and even apply extra moisturizer did not reduce this. I returned to my Cerave and the redness quickly decreased again, so it appears that this product is just not the right thing for my face.Since I’m not using it on my face anymore I decided to give it a dry on my legs as they can get quite flakey from wearing thigh high compression socks everyday. It has been working well on my legs. While a little goes a long ways on my face, I do find I need a significant amount for my legs and that these small jars are not going to last very long then, which makes this a rather pricey body moisturizer.

Great moisturizer for my face. Whipped, smooth skin moisturizer. First jar was only half full. I reached out to customer service and they were outstanding! Quick to respond and replace. Will order again.
