5.0 out of 5 stars A very good guide to mental health
I really like how Dr Julie breaks down lot of popular practices or advices that are not very helpful in dealing with reality.
5.0 out of 5 stars felt like a guide to getting through life
Love this book as a therapist I found myself echoing everything she said! It’s such an easy read! I literally tell my clients these things. I love how it’s all in a book ! Feels like a blueprint for life
4.0 out of 5 stars A reliable collection of psychological recipes

5.0 out of 5 stars Very informative
Good book. Learning a lot.
5.0 out of 5 stars concise and helpful
This book was helpful and understanding relationships are more important than money, fame or social status. That includes the relationship with yourself and respecting what you value which changes as you go through different decades of your life. Reviewing your values with your partner, can improve your closeness and satisfaction in your relationship. I really appreciated these ideas and will put them into action.
3.0 out of 5 stars Excellent resource
I picked up this book because I thought it would be similar to Maybe You Should Talk to Someone by Lori Gottleib, which is one of my favorites. It's similar, though much more detailed. The first chapters are very good, but I kind of got lost in the extremely detailed part about stress. Overall, it's a good book and has prompted me to seek more information about mental health. Definitely recommended!
5.0 out of 5 stars A must read
I watched Dr. Julie on YouTube and I love her short videos. The book goes into great detail how to improve and look at things differently. This book has many Suggestions how to make your life work a little better. If one doesn’t quite work, then she suggested another. She is truly an inspiration and a motivator. I highly recommend this book.
5.0 out of 5 stars Loving it
Update, I finished it and it has been so helpful to me I can back a second time just to make sure I had given this book a positive review! Has been sooo helpful for me. It is everything I said before below, it has got me excited to process my thoughts/feelings/actions and I feel the improvement. I would equate it to the feeling being a month or two into exercising consistently, you never want to lose it after that. If you want clear, helpful knowledge on ways to promote a healthy/thriving mental state I could not recommend this book more.Old review:I’m about 1/3 of the way through and just had to say something. It’s interesting, practical and concise. Doesn’t claim to be the know all just gives the reader helpful, useable knowledge. As a healthcare professional I couldn’t be more happy with how this book is presented and how easy it is to open up and gain some useable knowledge each morning. Definitely recommend.
Exelente libro
A great read
This book should be on everyone's bookshelf. So many tips to get through life on many levels. The chapters are easy to read, the info is easy to digest, and there are work lists at the end of each chapter to help you evaluate things and make them a positive habit in your life going forward.
Ein tolles Buch
