Note: I purchased this book after reviewing it for NetGalley.Betty Crocker Found Recipes cookbook is filled with vintage recipes and photos that will take you back to when your beloved grandmother or mother prepared the old-fashioned recipes that are often remembered fondly. Researchers at Betty Crocker selected recipes that were often requested or had risen to the top of recipe boxes due to popularity. Betty Crocker also worked to recreate lost recipes that were requested by consumers.I loved seeing the images of Betty Crocker that ranged from 1936 to modern day. My personal favorite, and if memory serves me right, was the 1956 (date not given in Found Recipes) Betty Crocker image. Who would not enjoy a Betty Crocker cookbook? If you like to cook and enjoy traditional, older style recipes, then this cookbook is for you. It would also make a terrific gift for newlyweds or college students living on their own for the first time.

Betty Crocker Found Recipes is a cookbook that contains favorite recipes from the past that deserve a place in modern cooking. They have been compiled from consumer requests, inquires about lost recipes, and nostalgic memories of the past. There are vintage photos scattered throughout the cookbook, along with old advertisements and recipes. I love the history lessons, especially the information about how the Betty Crocker signature came to be.
