With this being a brand new "100 Best" recipes I was hoping for a hardcover ringed binder. Pictures and recipes in this book are amazing, but regular binding makes it more difficult to read and cook from. The recipes are Classic, many great pastry and bread recipes, I would have liked to see more main courses and there are no soup/stew recipes. Divider tabs also would have been a plus. Also there are a lot Gluten Free recipes, I don't bake with almond or rice or coconut flour so it would have been nice to have a note stating how much all purpose flour could be used, but those who like to cook gluten free should pick this recipe book up. Over all I am pleased with this hardcover book. There were just a few misses, hence the 4 stars.

Item as described, prompt delivery etc. purchased this as a Christmas gift for a friend who grew up on down home Betty Crocker recipes that her mom and memaw fixed. They have both passed on and I’m hoping she can relive some of those family dinners in her own kitchen now. She was tickled to receive this as a gift.

This is a beautiful book. It would make a nice gift for any number of occasions. However , I purchased this book thinking that the recipes would be from the past . The recipes in this book are not vintage Betty Crocker recipes. They are revised and updated recipes. The recipes look incredible . So , this is perfect if you are not looking for original recipes from the past .
