5.0 out of 5 stars My granddaughter loves this series.
This is a cute series that my nine year old granddaughter loved reading. The prices were a good deal and made perfect birthday present.
5.0 out of 5 stars fun early chapter book
This is the 4th book in the series. It is an early chapter book that has a few pictures. My daughter (7 year old 1st grader) read the first 3 and just had to know about Mika! This book does make references to a few things that happened in earlier books, so it would probably be best to read the books in order. This is one of our favorite series.
5.0 out of 5 stars Too Cute...
This is a really cute book for pre-teens. My 9 year old found out about these books from school and we came home to order the set. Unfortunately they only have 4. Hopefully more will come out in the future. Very good reading and it teaches lessons.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great book and great price
This was a great book and it was just what I needed! It was easy to find and my daughter loves it! No complaints on my end about this book or product! I'm so glad I found this book here, its hard to find what you are looking for in any store. most places don't have this, but im glad Bolo did! its great and I recommend this for anyone who is looking for this series!
4.0 out of 5 stars Add a little more spice.
I love this series but to make it a little more intresting the author could've add a little drama between Kiki, Coco, and Lulu. Like a BFF argument between two if them.
5.0 out of 5 stars This book is great, as is the whole series (4 books)
This book is great, as is the whole series (4 books). My 1st grader was at a higher reading level, but not ready for books with no pictures. The book is written as a girl's diary, which breaks up the reading into smaller, more manageable segments. It's a great bridge between picture books and chapter books. All the Branches books accomplish this, and have a number of different series with different characters to appeal to a variety of students.
5.0 out of 5 stars I have read the books and I love them all
I bought the series books for my 7 year old daughter after she read the first one "Kiki, My stylish life" . The intent is to get her to read more on her own but she does not have the interest. On the other hand, I have read the books and I love them all. I believe, each book has something about it that would keep the reader engage. I truly recommend the book and the series.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great Addition To The Series
Another winner in this series which my daughter absolutely loves. I appreciate the subtle messages about friendship, understanding, and forgiveness. I especially like how misunderstandings are resolved. My daughter consumes these books as soon as they come out, often rereading them and relating to the characters as if they were people she knows. I hope other books evolve from this series. We are dying to find out more about Katie.
Great book that is part of a series
My wife asked me to order this book along with the other three (Coco, Lulu and Kiki) with the intent to read this to our 5 year old daughter who is in senior kindergarten. Upon opening the mailing package, our daughter grabbed it and ran off to the couch with it. To our surprise, she was able to read the entire book save for a few words she had not yet learned but were able to get her to sound them out with a little practice,These books are cleverly written as journals from the individual perspective of four young girls who are friends. As another reviewer has mentioned, it does help to teach kids some lessons from a perspective that resonates with them. The books seem appropriately balanced with illustrations and vocabulary that should captivate most 5-6 year old children who like to read.
