Claire Ireland makes hand-built sculptural ceramics on different scales, many of which are inspired by her studio's location in the grounds of a historical steam museum. She teaches contemporary ways of making and experimental decorative techniques, as well as specialist courses on smoke firing and paperclay. Claire is a professional member of the Craft Potters Association and the Society of Designer Craftsmen.

I was hoping for new inspiration or techniques that weren't already familiar to me. It is an attractive book that might be more inspiring for beginners, or for those who have never read about or experimented with the surface techniques presented this book.
Beautiful high quality book
Thank goodness this is a real publisher-quality book full of images on high quality photo paper. Lots in here for artists at all levels, worth the price tag
some really good Ideas I will use in the near future
I want to use it with fresh clay and plan ideas before Christmas.
