5.0 out of 5 stars Great book with expert insights
this is a solid book, it helps agency owners plan, prep and optimize ways to build a successful ad agency. It helps reveals tried and true practices of other ad agencies have been successful, and how you can replicate winning strategies. I've read other books that tend to be very high-level and philosophical, however Peter's book not only provides great insights, but tangible examples on how to properly do things.Things I enjoyed:- weird comment, but the font size and headlines made it so easy to read, everything was well organized and followed a good sequential order.- Interesting to read Peter's past successes and how I can apply them to my agency- Good usage of humor and sarcasm, light hearted- it was a relief to know that a lot of the problems I have are common among other agencies, it created a sense of community and collaborationWhat I wanted more of:- at times it felt like some chapter can be its own book, for example, business development is a large undertaking and has so many intricaciesIn summary, highly recommended, a good read that's well worth it.

Just do it all and you're in with a chance
This is a great book written by an adman who has definitely got the t-shirt. Ad agencies … yes they do still exist .. operate in a highly competitive environment. But strangely are often very bad at sales, self branding and promotion. If you want to survive, buy the book and do as many things that PL suggests as you can.
