This book is professionally written and easy to follow. It had three practice tests with plenty of practice questions and detailed answer explanations. The book also provides tons of information about the format of the exam along with good test-taking tips on how to score well. I would recommend this test prep book for any student preparing for the Hunter College High School exam!

I've used this book with many students as a tutor over the years, and I love how the practice questions help students build up their confidence in approaching tough questions. There are plenty of good tips and several sample exams to go through, which provide ample opportunity to test and improve reading and quantitative skills. Definitely recommended.

I may update this review later but so far my daughter and I are finding errors in the math questions - e.g. the symbol math problem didn't calculate numbers correctly. Misguidance for test prep is generally harmful and time consuming.

The test closely follows the formatting and type of questions from the official Hunter College High School practice exams. Looking at the Math Sections only (I'm a math tutor), there are some typos and some glaringly, where the answer key explanations has the right answer but the answer choices for the question doesn't reflect that. Also, some of the math questions are not very clear, which confuses my students.
