QUENTIN DOCTER, A+, Network+, IT Fundamentals+, Cloud Essentials+, is an IT consultant who started in the industry in 1994 working in tech support for Packard Bell. Since then, he’s worked as a tech and network support specialist, trainer, consultant, and webmaster. During his career, he has achieved certifications from CompTIA, Microsoft, Cisco, Novell, and Sun Microsystems. He has written over a dozen books for Sybex, including the CompTIA IT Fundamentals+ Study Guide and the CompTIA Cloud Essentials+ Study Guide.
JON BUHAGIAR, A+, Network+, is an information technology professional with two decades of experience in higher education. During the past 22 years he has been responsible for Network Operations at Pittsburgh Technical College and lead several projects, including virtualization (server and desktop), VoIP, Microsoft 365, and many other projects supporting the quality of education at the college. He has achieved several certifications from CompTIA, Cisco, and Microsoft, and taught many of the certification paths. He is the author of several books, including Sybex’s CompTIA Network+ Review Guide.

I love the information within the book as it seems to have everything you need to know in order to pass the exam but this book could be split into 2. It would be nice if it was split according to the 1101 and 1102 exams. The content is great but the amount of content is overwhelming. I guess this one with Dion and Messer, you'll be overly prepared for the exam and hopefully pass on the first try. But I also recommend getting the Kindle version.

The only problem I have with the book is that it is not set up in the same order as the test is. Other than that, it's great, and includes all the information you need. I love the quizzes on each section.

The content is fantastic! The material is easy to follow with a logical progression. Although as I began to increase my study time and bring my book with me I quickly became annoyed with its size. There is no good way to hold it unless you use a stand or prop the book on a bag. The pages have a semi gloss to them which also made it difficult to read in direct light. I’m buying a Kindle and using that version from now on. with Readwise integration for notes.

It has a lot of content and the material is easy to follow with a logical progression. I have to say I found the part covering Core 1 more accurate than the part covering Core 2, but overall I would absolutely recommend this book!

Content = great! Book = Absurdly Large.
The content in this book is great and will help you for the exam. But I suggest getting the Ebook instead. The book is massive. It probably could be split into two large books itself. If that doesn’t bother you then power to you!
