Updating the information is simple: Simply take a preprinted magnet from the lower magnetic board (which hangs below the calendar to keep magnets within easy reach). Then place it on the calendar to fill in the information . . . or make a custom magnet by writing on one of two dry-erase magnet tiles! There are fields for day, date, season, weather, temperature, activities, holiday, and mood.

I bought this for my 2 year old. With so many different daily calenders for children I choose the Melissa and Doug.-Bright gender neutral colors- Tons of magnets-covers, days of the week, months, weather, temperature, activities, holidays, and emotions-can be folded to store away-rope to hang-bottom magnetic board can be used as dry erase or to display paper arts-this can be used for years all the way up to middle school ageMy daughter was excited when she woke to see this hanging near her table! We decided to store the extra magnets away from the board in a bag and use the bottom to show off some of her art work.It seems to be well made and will last year's!So far the ONLY thing I was not a fan of was the sticky stuff that was on the back to hold the magnets on. It removed easily, was not too much trouble.I also feel like as children get older they could fill in the calender with dry erase markers.I would definitely buy this again as a gift to other children! So fun and educational!!

I recently purchased this to add to my homeschool items. Its been a great addition. My kids love being able to help move pieces to talk about calendar, weather, holidays or things we have for the week. Very well made and a great deal for what you are getting. This has enhanced our homeschool curriculum and my kids look forward to doing calendar each morning. It doesn't take up a lot of space and can be hung on the wall or folded for easy storage until you need it. Very kid friendly.

We love this calendar! It is very easy to use and we love all of the different activities/holidays it includes. It helps my preschooler understand and prepare mentally for what we are doing that day and the next day which is why we wanted it. Our only complaint is that the magnets are not very strong. They stick very lightly- will fall off if we bump into it- which happens a lot with little kids!

I gifted this to a 3 year old and got one for my own kids after seeing how durable, sturdy, educational and fun it is! We had an old version of this calendar by Melissa & Doug but this one is much more versatile as it has so many different categories for kids to play around with. Vibrant colors, pieces are big enough for little hands to hold and I also love how this is one item that kids will not outgrow for many, many years.
