I have followed her YouTube channel for a while and really loved it - her personality, her recipes and her food philosophy, if I can say it that way. I had her book on my wish list for a while before I decided to actually buy it. I hesitated because I don't usually like using cookbooks,they disappoint me often. But I am really glad I did buy this book. The recipes are straightforward, but interesting and are easy to make. Lots of photos! And almost every recipe gives you some options for modification: how to make it vegetarian or how to substitute this or that. I only tried one recipe - Corn Chowder - and we loved it! Have bookmarked at least 10 other recipes to try asap.

I truly like some of the recipes in this book which are easy to make once you get the ingredients. The only thing I would love to add to the book is the nutrition information since I’m on a restricted calorie diet.

I decided to get the Domestic Geek's book because I follow her YouTube videos. The book is a great start for those who want to cook healthy, without investing a lot of time. I have tried several recipes from the book and they are clearly explained. Pictures and guidance are great too! The Domestic Geek is an approachable and down to earth person that you can relate to, that why I liked her book.

I’ve been following the domestic geek on YouTube for years now. My favourite cookbook!!!Really the title sums it up perfectly - meals made easy.All easy to understand / find items. Very easy to make swaps for the vegetarian, vegan, or gluten free. Great variety on meals. Very easy to read and follow along.My best Christmas gift!!

Deze U-Tube ster (vind ik) maakt geweldige recepten en het feit dat je op U-Tube veel recepten kan bekijken en downloaden maakt het boek een goede aanvulling . Voor ons is het een verademing om wel moderner te eten (ik ben in de 60-tig) maar je hoeft niet telkens nieuwe producten te kopen. Alles is in de supermarkt verkrijgbaar en zo niet dan geeft ze alternatieven .
