I used this for reinforcement for my second grader struggling with reading comprehension. I liked several of the reading exercises - they are creative and engaging. However, some of the activities are a little confusing in my opinion and requires a good bit of assistance so she understood what was excepted. Overall I think it is a good tool, but I recommend reviewing the activities before asking your child to complete in case assistance is necessary.

Great books to buy. I get them all the time. My sons in second grade and it's helped so much. I've bought other grades too just to help him and he's advanced in alot of subjects. Buy them and have your kids once a week do a couple pages and it will help them tremendously. Def a great buy.
