On each perforated page, the Bus Driver provides instructions for each activity (which include drawing prompts, crafts, games, and more), while Pigeon-no surprise-gently pesters readers ("Now we're done with this activity book, right?"). When an alarmed Pigeon announces, "We're late for a puppet show!?" readers are instructed to craft a paper airplane, which then necessitates building an airport, naturally. Readers also have a hand in creating an elaborate puppet show (that Pigeon sleeps through), by filling in blanks for an exchange featuring a cranky new character, Mad Cow. About the Author
Mo Willems (www.pigeonpresents.com), a number one New York Times best-selling author and illustrator, has been awarded a Caldecott Honor on three occasions (for Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus!, Knuffle Bunny: A Cautionary Tale, and Knuffle Bunny Too: A Case of Mistaken Identity). This activity book is huge! It is much higher quality than I expected and is as thick as a decent novel. It has a wide variety of activities that are all fun and engaging. My daughter is five and just learning to read so she needs some assistance still. However, we save it for fun activities to do together and it’s really special and a huge hit with her!

This has kept my 5 year old busy for days, and she loves putting on puppet shows for me. Highly recommend, especially if your kids are a tad bit older. Had to help my little a lot with some of the scissor work.

This is such a fun activity book! My autistic son really loves pigeon books and was so excited to receive this as a Christmas present. It has such a great variety of activities, all wrapped up in Mo Willem's awesome sense of humor. It's a HUGE book too! Pretty heavy and jammed packed with more than 250 activities! I love that my buddy has had some great practice with cutting, taping, coloring, drawing, folding, finishing sentences, using his imagination..etc...with one of his favorite literary characters! One of the best parts of the book is that there is a folder in the back to keep any of the pages that you need to tear out! Hours of screen free, educational entertainment!

I bought this for my daughter and she spent, like, 3 full days going through and doing all the activities.This book is much larger than I expected. I didn't look at anything about it prior to buying and when I got it and it was over 200 pages I was worried it would be too much. It's perfect though. More than just coloring and mazes or whatever is usually in activity books. I mean those are in there too but it's kinda got a running story, (bus driver, duckling, and obviously pigeon, are throughout the book talking to each other and the reader) LOTS of cutting activity, coloring, mazes, and building stuff (a bus [not kidding], a perfect airplane, etc).Honestly this activity book sets the bar pretty high for kids activity books and is well worth every penny. Especially if your little one(s) enjoy Mo Willams books

I buy one of these books every year. This activity book was purchased for my 3 and 6 year old niece and nephew. They LOVE the activities in it and I got them a book too which everyone enjoyed.

it has so many activities!
well, this is a English version book, so i prefer to type English. this book has many activities, based on the pigeon series picture books, characters with distinct personalities and interesting stories, it can awaken children's hands-on ability and desire to perform. This book is worth buying, I personally highly recommend it.
Great for all fans of Mo Willams' Pigeon
We all love Mo Williams and his writing.We really love the pigeon series so when we saw this , we couldn't resist.It's a great, big, fun book full of fun....but we dare not use it fully as we would hate to ruin this book.It has lots to look at and read and features the pigeon at his most playful. The book is much bigger that I thought it would be.If we weren't so precious I'm sure we'd have the dilemma of which thing to do. We aren't too sad to keep it nice.
