Two years in to pottery, and I didn’t think I would want a book, but I’m very glad I bought this one. Extremely thorough, but not tedious. Well-versed, but simple for the beginner. Beautiful photos, great ideas, easy to follow organization. From set-up to finishing touches. I’m glad to be making room for this in my home.

Pottery book is incredibly insightful including numerous clay, glazing and firing techniques. Pages include short descriptions followed by step by step instructions on the various techniques plus lots of colorful imagery. Book is very easy to follow and read. Great for a classroom environment!

Great overview of all the pottery techniques
I have many pottery books and I found that this one provides a very good overview of all the techniques with many pictures including decorating and glazing.
