We hear a great deal about "hustle culture" in today's discourse, but we seldom hear about people who hustle for a purpose. Kelli Masters is the best example around of someone who focused and sacrificed in pursuit of her calling while remaining grounded, humble, and true to her values.In this book, Kelli details how she discerned her service-driven calling and put in the long hours, overcame her fears, and persevered through the uncertainties to become a successful and respected agent. She doesn't sugar coat her story and is quite vulnerable in relating her path. She testifies to how her faith shaped her, helped her discern her calling, sustained her as she built her business, and infuses how she serves and conducts her business.Kelli shares a number of practical insights and tips throughout her book as well. Make sure you have a pen while you read this book because you'll find yourself underlining, marking, and writing in the margins a great deal.I highly recommend this book to anyone seeking discernment about their calling and how to marry their passion with their God-given skills, talents, and experiences to make an impact in their career and in their life!

Going in I wasn't sure what to expect from this book, however it surprised me. I found myself wanting to keep reading and finding out what happens next, as it really hits home with how purpose, talents/abilities, and finding your calling come together. It was a great read on how your experiences and plan (even with the ups/downs and twist/turns) aligns with how God's plan is revealed in your life.

She uses life stories and biblical examples to demonstrate how every person can make a significant impact on others. Her practical steps to finding purpose, meaning and fulfillment in our lives are invaluable in helping people understand who they are and who they can become. Highly recommend for all, but particularly for high school and college students seeking to better understand themselves and the their role in world.

High Impact Life is not a self-help book, it's more of a your life is important and here are some reminders of why that is book.Kelli Masters has spent the last few decades making a place for herself in a male-dominated industry. She's a sports agent, helping young athletes navigate the hiring process and finding the best fit for their skills amongst all the professional teams. But in reality, she helps atheletes become the people that they've always desired to be for their entire lives, not just the few years they play professional football. And she's taken some of the insights and encouragements and questions that she walks through with her clients and offered them to you in this book. It's encouraging, thought provoking, and ultimately, up to you whether or not this is a book worth reading.Masters shares her personal stories of becoming a sports agent as well as stories of her clients, some good, some difficult. Masters sums up the hope of this book in this line "Nothing you go through-not even your own self-sabotage, missteps, and mistakes-will go to waste. When you trust God, everything is redeemable and every experience will move you one step closer to your calling."And what is your calling? I loved this book! Thanks to Andy Andrews I got it and now my wife is reading it as well. I'm recommending High Impact Life to my awesome accountability partner Karen, who is a gymnastics trainer! This is just a classic example of what you can do with your life AND for the lives of others if you pursue your calling with passion and put your heart and soul into it!
