5.0 out of 5 stars Help my son

5.0 out of 5 stars Great for summer review
I got this for my seven year old to practice over summer break. Reading isn't his favorite thing in the world, but every time we did this workbook, he not only did the page, but wanted to tell me all the minecraft concepts that the workbook reminded him of. So he was learning and we had some good conversations about minecraft. I also got dinosaur stickers so when he finished a page, he could add a sticker to it for finishing.
4.0 out of 5 stars Great for the hardcore Minecraft loving kid
My kid was a bit on the precosous side, learning to read before he entered kindergarten. Wanting to find him something that would help him grow but still be fun, we landed on using this workbook. This workbook is pretty ingenious for theming itself around something so many kids love. The first section, which focuses on vowels and word identification, is a bit boring and I'm not sure is particularly effective at teaching the kids anything. The next section where more reading is involved is much better. The book is meant for first and kindergarteners.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great workbook
I bought this workbook for my nephew that loves Minecraft. I love how the workbook breaks it down for his grade level.
5.0 out of 5 stars My kid actually enjoys it
My son likes Minecraft. He views doing the workbook as fun, I don't think he's realized it's "work." He picks it up and does it at the table without prompting. I'm so happy to see him reading and writing.
5.0 out of 5 stars Need more writing room but great!
This is truly a great learning workbook, but wish it had more room to write.
5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome for kids who love minecraft
Awesome for kids who won't talk about anything else. Also got the Reading Success for grades 3-4 book, which is interesting to see what he WILL be learning and it also has more fantasy stories in it, and can build vocab. The grades 1-2 has a little too much explanatory text i.e. what is a creeper etc. Most kids who are obsessed know most of the facts, but that's OK, it makes the "text comprehension" questions on an easier level for those who struggle - and there has definitely been a fact or two he has learned (and we are only part way through. I prefer the reading success books to the math books...but probably because my son needs more help with reading. I'm sure the math ones good for kids who need catching up with math...ALL awesome tho. Thanks for producing these!
Interesting work for kids
My son enjoys the content, making the working so much easier.
