I just received this in the mail, got them on time before my first Organic Chemistry lab. So I haven't officially begun using it as of yet but it's good for my class needs. It conveniently has the periodic table of elements on the back, a table of useful constants which will be handy for analytical chemistry computations, a table of metric prefixes and electron shell configs of common elements. The pages in the back also contain a unit conversion page which is yet another nice thoughtful touch for students' convenience. There are a 101 pages which is a good enough amount that will hopefully last me the for both sections 1 and 2 orgo lab.It has the title, project, and book number on the top heading. It's grid lined which I've rarely but I'm just glad it's lined at all. Not much space to write your name in the heading, but if it's a lab notebook, your name should go on the front of the book. If you have to hand in the papers, you're better off getting a spiral notebook with perforated pages. Lab notebooks are not meant to be turned in until the end of the year, *usually* but every class is different (but don't blame the book for it's lack of something that isn't meant for it's kind)Overall, I'm happy with my purchase and it's well priced to boot! Highly recommend. BTW, I only plan to use a regular G2 pilot gel pen with this, so I cannot attest yet whether or not markers or highlighters will bleed through the pages.

Perfect for my General Chemistry class in college. Though, I wish there were more pages due to the labs taking up way too many pages 🫠 The tables on the back are also very useful!

I spent 15 years in the pharmaceutical industry and now I teach chemistry laboratories at a university. I recommend this notebook to ALL my students.Pros:-The paper is of good quality.-It is bound and pre-paginated which means students can't tear out pages-The grid lines make it easy to create neat tables.-The size makes it easy to manage in the lab and easy to make copies to turn in.-Having the spaces pre-printed for signatures, titles, witnessing, and pagination provides great reminders for students to build good laboratory habits.-Periodic table and included constants and conversion chart provide a great resource for student use.-Highly affordable-Notebook themes of chemistry, biology, and physics mean distinguishing notebooks is easyCons:-Doesn't come in hardbackI cannot recommend any lab notebook more highly than this one.

I am an engineering graduate researcher managing many projects at a time, since I am going though notebooks quickly I cannot afford to buy the overpriced lab notebooks they sale on campus. This notebook is both affordable and competitive to the other lab notebooks. This notebook is perfect, it is grid ruled, has page numbers, and there are sections for a title, project, date, and name (helpful for managing undergrads).
