I have this book in my preschool classroom. I bought a second copy for my husband therapy office. Discusses that if you talk about your worries they seem smaller and not so big anymore. Good illustrations for kids too.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful read
My 9 yr old dtr struggles with a lot of anxiety and separation. I bought this based on reviews. This is such a lovely well written story. Focuses on how Ruby’s worry follows her around and gets larger especially if she ignores it. (That’s the part my dtr really related to) and Ruby friends a friend with a worry as well. Once they talk about it it gets smaller. I’m really glad I got this book. We still talk about it especially at school drop off when that’s really difficult for her. Since we read it often and we talk about her anxieties, she’s slowly gotten better at separating. It’s a good read for any child with worries.
