5.0 out of 5 stars David Adamy is The Man !

David Adamy is The Man ! It is so refreshing to read an author who can make the complex fairly simple or take something that is relatively esoteric and it explain the concepts so that just everybody that has a decent IQ can understand it. It is a rare trait and greatly appreciated. As you might have guessed this EW book builds on the prior 101 and 102 EW books and it is expensive but well worth the price. Here are the Chapters:1) Nature of Communications2) Communication Signals3) Communication Antennas4) Communication Receivers5) Communication Propagation6) Search for Communication Emitters7) Location of Communication Emitters8) Intercept of Communication Signals9) Communications JammingLots of Graphs to explain the esoteric and the mysterious to create simplified clear cut concepts. If you are slow witted and not a hard worker I would not bother getting this book but if you want the "Big Picture" in a timely manner of the overall concepts of EW so you can talk intelligently to someone who is in the field without sounding like a fool.......definitely pursue buying this book. And yes it is expensive but there are no royal roads to learning this field unless you take the risk of buying an expensive book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Exactly what i was looking for...

This is a great book! It is written at a low enough level for an engineer not in the EW field to understand, and yet goes into enough detail that even an EE working EW can still learn a few things. It covers everything from communication reciever design to signal characterisitcs and electronic counter counter measures employed on current military systems. Great read from start to finish. Would absolutely recommend to a friend.

5.0 out of 5 stars but overall great resource.

Covers the other side of the 101 and 102 books. Some repeated material, but overall great resource.
