LANE REBELO, LCSW, is the founder of Tiny Signs®, an award-winning baby sign language program providing classes, workshops, and professional trainings in the Boston area and online. Lane is a licensed social worker and worked for many years with families in the Boston area. Lane began studying American Sign Language in 2006 after her first baby was born and was amazed by all she had to say. She lives with her husband and two daughters in MetroWest Boston. My First Book of Baby Signs is a fantastic resource for helping babies communicate before they can speak. The signs are simple, easy to follow, and the illustrations are super cute. It’s been so helpful teaching my little one basic signs like “more,” “eat,” and “all done.” Watching them understand and use the signs has been such a rewarding experience. This book makes it fun and interactive for both parents and babies – a great way to bond and reduce frustration. Highly recommend for any new parent!

i am a teacher for toddlers and i found this book to have a lot of useful signs, the book also explains the signs in a very easy to understand way which is helpful for everyone. definitely worth the money :)

The images and the instructions are great to show the baby and learn yourself. Wish there were more pages though, good for starters as it has the main things you'd want to know as feedback from baby.

The little descriptions of the sign and illustrated are so helpful and easy for even my toddler to understand with help.I love the diversity they show in the book. One baby has vitiligo and my toddler asked about the baby. I got to explain how every body looks different. And how we have "spits" (freckles) and it's kind of the same as that baby's white "spots." Obviously that is an over simplified explanation for a toddler but I love that I can start exposing her to those things!We are learning ASL for my infant son who is hard of hearing and this is a fantastic first book to get us started.

I bought this book because I wanted to learn more sign language signs along with my baby. I like that all the signs are practical and useful. For a total sign language beginners like myself, some of the instructions didn’t make complete sense so I did have to YouTube some to make sure I was doing them right. Overall, I have been enjoying this book in the library to practice and learn alongside my baby.

Although our little is still inside baking, we have already started going over, so we can teach him communication from a very small age. this book was informative, it has pictures as well as verbal instructions on what to do to sign to your baby.ofcourse the reader is ofcourse the person in charge of instilling the sign language into their home, But there is so nany benefits to it, I would recommend any beginner who is interested to give this book a shot to start.

Das Cover klebt total und ist an einigen stellen schwarz, alle Seiten sind Zerknittert, eine Seite wurde sogar geklebt.. einige Seiten sind dreckig. Das ist total dreist sowas EKLIGES überhaupt zu verschicken.1 Stern weil man sonst keine Bewertung abgeben kann.
Lovely book but not BSL
The book is lovely and the illustrations are great. I just wish that the title for this purchase explained ASL being on Bolo UK. Sadly need to find another book instead
