4.0 out of 5 stars Fun and satisfying
This novel delivered even with such a small setting. It touches on many relevant issues which I always appreciate when attention is drawn to them. I love the diversity of the characters, especially the main being Korean. I was able to predict much of the story but was still entertained. Easy and quick read.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Detective And Psychological Thriller
This is the first book I’ve read by Daniel Miller, and all I can say is that it was an incredible read with a surprise twist at the end. I was so riveted by the story that I read it in two days, and I’m looking forward to reading more books by this author. If you like murder mysteries and detective stories, this is the one for you.
4.0 out of 5 stars good
A good quick read that spins a good story with lots of twist. Not hard to follow. But reads well
Great book!
I finished the book 3 days after I received. Only complaint I have is the sleepless nights I had because I couldn’t stop reading it!! Suspenseful story, great writing.
A Character Driven Thriller with a Compelling Plot
This is a well-written thriller with characters you can care about.I particularly enjoyed the dynamics between Hazel and her roommate, Kenny.Hazel's psychological challenges in this investigation are clearly linked to her motivation as a private investigator and her commitment to the case.
good story, solid twist
The main character is flawed in a way that you can’t help but keep reading. I thought I picked it early but it definitely had me second guessing who the bad guy was.A quick read but worth it.
