5.0 out of 5 stars Gift

Bought as gift and he loves it!

3.0 out of 5 stars Why is this 40% fewer pages than the original?

S.F. · June 24, 2022

What got removed? The original has 288 pages and this has 176 pages.Roughly the same price for 40% less. Why take so much out? And "adding new info"...means you took out over half of the original? Is this a revision (as it says) or an addition to the original?

Wonderful practical book

Just wonderful book, one of the best! Very easily described, lots of photos and mostly about practical part (but there are some inspiring blocks about different artists as well). Strongly recommend for any level of ceramists And potters

Brilliant book! A must have!

This book is a fantastic resource and good all rounder, covering a wide variety of ceramic techniques and processes. I particularly like the artist profiles which are of high quality work and very inspirational. The quality of the book is exceptional with stylish photography and well organised information. I have the original of this book and this new edition has received an update with new artists and resource section. Highly recommend

Solid reference book

M.T.S. · April 21, 2022

Great book to help direct your next stages of development in pottery. Not super detailed but if it was I would be 4000 pages! Covers everything in just enough detail to get you excited and testing out new techniques.

Good for a beginner

I would have liked something more in depth, less of the basics. Wrong choice. Otherwise a good book for a beginner.
