My daughter has been struggling with fractions & this book has been such a help for her! She is finally able to understand it a little better because of the assignments & visual aids. Makes doing homework a lot easier for both of us.

I got these book to keep my kid occupied in summer and my son loved working on this. He finished one book and asked if I can get a similar one in English. The standard of Math and English in the book is impressive. The examples are very easy for the kids and interesting too.

My 8 year old says she "hates math" because the rote math practice at school is boring. But, her teacher said she needed extra practice at fractions. This workbook is visually oriented and the activities seem more like the activity books she otherwise likes, rather than the worksheets she gets from school. When I got the book and told her we were going to work in it, she groaned. Then she looked inside, grabbed it out of my hands, and spent 45 minutes doing page after page in the book. Her verdict: "It's like an activity book, not a math book!" and "I like fractions!" As a parent I was impressed in how the workbook breaks down learning about fractions into step by step skills which kids conquer one at a time. My daughter was neither overwhelmed nor bored. This is the first math workbook she actively enjoys. I will be buying more.

I bought this for my third grader- it is good for supplemental practice along with school homework. I found that every topic -"equivalent fractions" , "comparing fractions" etc has lots of practice problems to help clear concepts.

I used this book to fill in some gaps in my homeschooled kids’ math. They like to work independently and this book makes it easy. It starts out very simple, giving confidence right away, and both have finished the book with a good grasp of fraction basics. Don’t pay attention to the grade level, this book is appropriate for anyone needing a better understanding of the basics.
