This is the most beautiful put together bible I have ever owned. There are wonderful illustrations which really bring the text to life. The binding and leather cover are strongly made and very resilient. The price is worth every penny and the cost is very affordable for what you are getting. I would expect it to be priced higher for the high quality. Extremely pleased with this purchase.

I use this Bible for personal and small-group study and it is an amazing resource. The type is easy to read without being overly large and the footnotes and references are also very valuable. I had been searching for a Catholic Bible that offered the words of Christ in red type, and they're very hard to find. This Bible has everything I wanted and more. I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking for a modern Catholic translation.

Beautiful Bible. But not medium print. Small print and uncomfortable for these old eyes to read it. If you have normal eyesight, get it. It’s a beautiful thing!

I am very pleased with the Bible, but it was shipped in a bag and the box was damaged. This is a problem since this is a graduation gift.
This edition of the NCB can be easily taken along to church or by commuters or travellers
I have bought this particular size of the New Catholic Bible for a friend so that he can take it with him to various venues.The cover is described variously as imitation leather or dura leather. It both looks and feels like real leather.This recent and not as yet well known translation of the Bible is very impressive in several ways. It is more faithful to the teachings of the Church and also contains numerous additional features and helps that are very useful to all Bible readers, whether they be scholars or everyday users.
