I got this peeler to replace my 20 year old OXO peeler, which I love. I hate change and was not sure about the slightly different grip design.I needn’t worry with OXO brand. This new peeler is amazing. The grip is very comfortable and it’s so nice having a sharp blade again. The blade rocks side to side more than my old one which makes cleaning much easier.

The blade finally dulled after 30 years of use. Thankfully, they didn't change anything about it--didn't need "fixing'". Great product. Handle is easy on the hands even for Thanksgiving loads of potatoes, short. end takes care of eyes. Best peeler ever.

The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars was because I was not able to use it both ways, both toward me and away from me. It worked a bit toward me, but I finally gave up and just peeled away from me.And very sharp, so PLEASE make sure children are well taught before letting them use this!

Works the way it is supposed to. It's sturdy and sharp. It use to be called a potato peeler now it's a vegetable peeler. I use it in lots of vegetables and tomatoes which is a fruit!
