Thought this to wash our salad lettuce and it really makes a difference! This works very well and it's based on Archimedes screw. It's easy to load the basket and assemble it and use it. You can definitely see that the lettuce is rinse clean and it makes the salad dressing stick to the salad better! It's a Wonderful size for making multiple salads. It's stay sealed and is very well made. It's also versatile where you could wash other things such as broccoli or other vegetables and not just lettuce. Highly recommended product!

Easy to use. Spin action is sufficient to dry the leaf lettuce. Large enough to hold a lot and would be great for serving a salad. I like that you can remove the basket to pour out the water. Heavy duty plastic.

A little bit so not convenient for storage. Very good quality, and made with heavy duty material. The spinner is very nice. You can use the strainer first to wash your veggies clean and then go straight to the bowl and start spinning. The lid locks for great spinning. After the water is out, empty the bowl, wipe it off and put the salad in the bowl and toss. The bowl is huge so you can have as much as you want in the salad. The material is strong.andvthevbowl can be used for any big dish, so it has a lot of versatility.:)

Besides the fact that this salad spinner works great, it's easy to clean. I had surgery on my wrist and this spinner was so much easier to use than the "crank" kind. Love this product!!

I bought this to wash my produce and it works great! I put my blueberries and strawberries in it with water and vinegar and spin them around a bit and it works so well! The water left in the bowl is always filthy afterward it's probably the cleanest our produce has ever been! It was easy to put together and the size is good, I can fit two pounds of strawberries in at a time. It's held up well so far. The plastic is solid and not flimsy.

It may seem a little strange to spin your lettuce after washing it and cutting it up for your salad. However, nothing is quite so bland as a soggy salad. The spinner serves one purpose and does it very well—it uses physics to fling the water collected on the lettuce from washing into the sides and down into the collecting bowl, leaving your leaves crisp and clean. The spinner is sturdy and the plunger works very well. The tab/button for slowing the spin also functions well. The bowl does not leak and the basket and lid are easy to clean. I would not recommend using as a way to coat your salad leaves with oil or dressing, because the lid does has two parts which might be hard to clean between if you use oil or anything other than water.

This is one of those products where the expense is hard to justify initially but then once you start using it you wonder how you lived without it. It just works so well, is sturdy and easy to clean. If I eventually need to replace it I will be buying another one, no messing around with a different brand or model.

glass bowl is a must! Plastic dies too quickly.
I love the sturdiness of this item. I had bought an expensive plastic one that developed cracks immediately but still worked for about 4 months. Then I bought a replacement and the bowl split while I was washing it - by hand - before the first time use. This one is worth the money and is strong and works really well.

This salad spinner is very nice. I’ve owned several over the years and this the best. It is large, easy to use and operates smoothly. The pump mechanism needs little effort and I feel it spins as much water off the salad greens as possible. I’m happy with the purchase and do recommend it.
