About Roof Prism Binoculars:
The prism system of a binocular reduces the size needed to contain a long optical path and turns what would be an upside-down image right-side-up. In roof prism binoculars, the prisms overlap closely, allowing the objective lenses to line up directly with the eyepiece. The result is a slim, streamlined shape in which the lenses and prisms are in a straight line. Roof prism binoculars are less bulky and more rugged than an equivalent porro model.

Took this as a travel pair of binos to Turkey this year and it was good enough for my needs. Watching the hot air balloons in Cappadocia was fun. Beach watching, no problem. It held up pretty well. The glass quality is decent. Good clarity. Ended up gifting it to my friend in Turkey. Value for the money is phenomenal.

These are just what I wanted. Compact and lightweight but the view is great! Came with a case and a small lens cloth too.I went online to look at the manual which explained how to adjust the focus. That was very helpful and made a big difference.

I bought these binoculars for an Alaskan cruise. They fit compactly in my suitcase and are very light making them easy to carry. They were perfect for our whale watching excursion making the whales and bald eagles very clear. The only slight drawback is the cord is not comfortable to wear around your neck however this was not a big issue for me as they fit easily in my backpack and the pockets of my hoodie. Great buy especially for the price!

I like the size, build and ergonomics of these 10Xs, but they are not as sharp or clear as the 8Xs.The 8s are more compact and brighter.

These are just perfect for backyard bird watching. From my deck I can zoom in to birds sitting on the telephone wires and see them so clearly. These compact Bushnell binoculars are exactly what I wanted. I got the 10 x 25 size for only $16.99....and....they came with a nice case. They seem very sturdy and have already survived being snatched by Max, my Golden Retriever and by spilled coffee. I'm buying a couple more as I suspect these will be very popular and I want a pair for my car. Perfect for seeing addresses or street signs. They are sturdy, compact and are crisp & clear. Did I mention how inexpensive they are? Buy a pair, you won't regret it.

brilliant bit of inexpensive kit.
I've had Bushnell scopes before on air rifles and know they are reliable and robust-these binos have been bought for a 10yr old budding birdwatcher and because I trust the brand,they were my choice for him. Was not disappointed-sturdy,excellent clarity of vision,a doddle to use. Compact enough to slip in a pocket,light enough to not notice the weight-brilliant. Thinking of buying myself a pair as spares!
