5.0 out of 5 stars Like the original mini processors...Finally, it works with no issues!
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } We had a mini food processor like this from KitchenAid we had for 10 + years and it worked great. It went caput and we replaced it with another KitchenAid but the set up was different (improved...not in my opinion). IF you didn't make just the right connections you had to empty and try again. Truly annoying and totally inefficient. So we searched for a replacement and found the Cuisinart and it does not disappoint. It works similar to the design of many years ago with one additional safety feature which is not an issue at all. LOVE it, I feel like I should stock up in case they change the design and they become useless.Pro's: Super easy to attach the cup, turn and lock in place. Center component and blade are all one piece so it is easy to clean and no parts to lose. Chop & Grind features, all I need and works for everything I needed this for. Does not take up much space. Large enough capacity to chop 1 bag of Costco Tenderloins (I do cook and cut them in half before placing them in this. Easy to clean.Con's: NONE, Absolutely not one thing we do not like about this convenient, handy kitchen appliance that does the job well and is easy to use.
5.0 out of 5 stars Works great, dishwasher safe!
Works great, girlfriend loves it, dishwasher safe, what’s not to love? It’s good. It is loud!It locks into place easily when turning. The blade seems sharp enough to grind things into a powder. Assembly involves just putting the main container on and turning it into place, super easy. Speed seems fine. My only complaint is that it didn’t grind 100% of the things we put into it into a powder, meaning we had to use a strainer afterwards, I think that’s just a function of the blade being relatively far from the bottom of the container maybe?Overall though it worked great and is simple and dishwasher safe. It’s also nice and small which is great.
5.0 out of 5 stars It's great and it's pink!!
Had something similar from another expensive company when I saw this one. Absolutely great little product. Easy to use, easy to clean, wanted a small chopper to handle small amounts of chopping and this is it! Slips right into the cupboard and out of sight when not in use; love it. Plus, it's pink and at a fraction of the cost!
4.0 out of 5 stars Cuisinart Electric chopper
This looks nice. I got a red one. Its all plastic except blade. Easy to clean. It does not seem as sturdy as my 20 yr old 1 cup. I replaced with this one bc the blade in old one is dull. Nothing is made heavy duty or long lasting anymore. This chopper works. Its larger than my 1.5 cup chopper but not able to handle 2 or 3 cups either. I haven't figured out how to make it chop evenly. You are supposed to pulse it rather than steadily holding chop or grind button. I chop carrots and other veggies. Onions, nuts. I can only do one cup at a time. If you think to chop a large amount at one time, forget it. This does chop. The blade is quite sharp. If you overfill, it will spill out. Again, getting it to chop evenly has eluded me. There are always larger pieces that get missed while the rest gets overly pulverized. I wld recommend hand washing it. I dont think the cup or lid wld survive the temp in dishwasher. I kept it bc I needed one with a sharp cutting blade. Im not a daily or big time cook. It suits me for now. I have other Cuisinart brand kitchen supplies. This is not their worst but, not their best either.
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect Little Processor!
I am on a ground chicken breast kick at the moment and was adamant that I would no longer pay almost $5 a pound when whole chickens are $.99 a pound! It was a no brainer that I could grind my own and save a lot of money. I found this little gem and it was delivered while I was out buying chicken! I immediately washed it, prepared the chicken breast and, in just a matter of minutes, I had 2 pounds of ground chicken breast, two drumsticks, 2 thighs, and 2 wings for under $7!This little machine worked flawlessly, was just the right size, appears to be durable, cleaned up effortlessly, and the price was very affordable! Can't wait to try the 'chop' function!
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for making meals for 2
This is the perfect chopper for making meals for myself and my husband. I have the large Cuisinart, but now as empty nesters, I wanted something smaller and not so heavy. I can chop onion (1/2), celery, green pepper and garlic quickly to make chili. I use this so much. Does a great job chopping, not too fine and not too coarse. Saves so much time. very easy to clean. I also love it to chop parsley.

Comes with a US plug!??
NOT FOR THE EU COMES WITH A US PLUG!!!I can smell the engine when I run it even when using an adaptor. I think the wattage is too high for the EU. Also can’t put the barrel in the dishwasher or food gets stuck in side the handle and it has a special type of screw to unscrew it so I can’t get it clean. Don’t buy.
