I really liked this device. I have had it about 2 years. it is a good size, easy to use and easy to clean. It is particularly easy to open, give a quick stir and re close. about 1 year in a tab broke off the base . it was still functional. The other day the top of the blade assembly, where it connects with the cover melted down and got stuck in the top. It is not worth buying replacement parts as the device total cost is $18.00. So I bought a new one. It has served me well in many different applications in my kitchen for 2 years, well worth the $18.00.

We had this same model for about 15 years. The bottom with the motor still works but the cup and cover were missing pieces of the plastic tabs that hold it when you turn it and wouldn't stay locked. You had to hold it during the chopping process. It can mince the onions and peppers into large pieces or super fine if you keep the blades spinning. I was thrilled to find it was still available. I highly recommend it. It does the job without taking up a lot of storage room. It's durable if you don't drop the cup or cover on the floor. That is how the tabs, that hold the cover and cup when chopping, broke when they hit the floor.

This replaced a similar chopper that ceased working after around five years. I like this model but worry that the plastic tabs on the lid (which serve to turn the chopper n when the top is rotated) may easily break off if handled roughly. Great for chopping nuts and onions (the main uses I make of it).

Fantastic mini food processor
I was blown away with the Proctor Silex mini food processor. No fuss, simple to use and clean.I use it to chop up vegetables raw and cooked for soups, snacks or to add to my cat's soft food. Much, much more convenient than having to use my bigger machine and all of the bother. I love this product!

Es pequeño pero muy fácil de limpiar, te permite preparar rápido salsas, guacamoles, picar cebolla, hacer picos de gallo, solo enjuagas y a lo que sigue, muy muy práctico. Tengan cuidado al lavar las cuchillas, descubrí que tienen más filo que mis cuchillos :c

It’s a great chopper ! Works very well even with small foods such as garlic cloves, which are not easily chopped with other choppers I tried.
