The blade grips the fruit so it will not slip away whilst the rounded handle fits perfectly into the hand and moves with yours as you peel. I ordered this pendulum peeler for my daughter, as I have the same for many years. It works like a charm. However I had to return it because I was sent the cheaper version without the moving blade. The only complaint I have is that when peeling large potatoes or large apples, the metal frame holing the blade sticks out too much. Not sure why it’s designed like that, because there’s other German brands tha5 don’t have the metal frame in the way when peeling large foods.

This was a replacement for my old one I bought over 10 years ago in Germany. It was used nearly every day, I am so glad we were able to get the same model after such a long time. Not many items last so long. WMF is a great quality company.

I thought this would last. First of all, it only works if you pull the blade towards you. I was always taught to push it away from you to keep from getting hurt. Secondly, it lasted only a dozen times before the blade wouldn’t peel a thing. I simply don’t understand why nothing of quality exists anymore.

Está muy bien hecho al punto que puedes pelar incluso berenjenas. Al principio hay que adaptarse a él por su funcionamiento lateral y no parece muy adecuado para un zurdo

Ich habe den WMF Profi Plus Swivel Vegetable Peeler jetzt seit über zwei Jahren im regelmäßigen Einsatz und kann ihn uneingeschränkt empfehlen.Qualität und LanglebigkeitTrotz regelmäßiger Nutzung und der Tatsache, dass ich ihn immer per Hand spüle, hat der Schäler bisher nicht gerostet. Die Klinge ist auch nach all der Zeit noch erstaunlich scharf, ohne dass ich sie jemals nachschärfen musste. Das spricht für die hohe Qualität des Materials.HandhabungDie Art und Weise, wie dieser Schäler funktioniert, ist einfach super. Das drehbare Klingenblatt passt sich perfekt an das Gemüse an, was das Schälen sehr einfach und angenehm macht. Ich habe bislang noch keinen besseren Schäler gefunden, weder im Handling noch in der Schärfe.FazitEin hochwertiges und langlebiges Küchenwerkzeug, das sich in der alltäglichen Benutzung bewährt hat.
