I got this iron to take while pregnant as my prenatal doesn't include iron. I take one pill first thing in the morning along with a vitamin c pill to help absorption.I did remove a star for the taste - they do taste pretty bad, metallic/tangy, almost like blood, but not bad enough that I can't get them down.

this is like my 3rd bottle and also get them for my husband!I used the get the ones from the doctor but could no longer get them with him no longer my doctor and they can only be ordered by one!Other ones where terrible on my system and litterly clogged me up and so painful!I have no problem taking these ones as they are made the same way my prescription iron was made and same type of iron!I will keep ordering these as long as they never change how there made or raise the price to high!!I need to take iron as I don't eat enough protein or such to get the iron I need nor does my husband as we eat a lot of quick stuff now that were older but also need to watch our funds so need these to stay reasonable!

When you really need that Iron boost
You can tell when your Iron levels are low - that breathlessness is in your face.Of course, if you are at that point, your best bet is to see your GP - if you can successfully get in touch with one. But in the meantime - start these.I take one with some orange juice as Vit C is known to improve your Iron uptake and you will feel better.20mg is a good dosage for topping you up without bunging you up, a must have for your personal apothecary shelf.
Feels very light on the gut and doesn't give burning sensation like other iron supplements
This product was suggested by my gynecologist during pregnancy as I had extreme heart burn during pregnancy and the regular iron tablets didn't suit my gut. This product helped in maintaining the iron levels and also felt very light on the gut without giving any heart burn. I highly recommend this supplement to anyone facing heart burning issues due to other iron supplements
