This clear glaze worked great on a wood bar I just painted black, only complaint, it has a very strong chemical smell that lasts for days. use a well ventilated area outside the house. I used it in my garage, with the garage door open, and could still smell it in my house 3 days later. but it did a great job, bar looks great

I had 2 water based painting I needed to treat the canvas so I could wipe them off with a damp cloth and the paint wouldn't smear. This Kryton Workable Fixatif works great, one light count is all you need. FYI, You need to spray outside in well ventilated area and let me set outside to get rid of the smell for a few hours, or you will stink your house up, something awful. Really pleased with the results, the pictures still look the same as before I sprayed them.

Have used this a long while now to protect art surfaces. You never know it is there is you use the Matt texture. Good product.

This is your old fashioned, brain-killing, high VOC fixatif. Don't use it indoors in a living area, even with ventilation. In the past couple of decades, spray paints have really cut down on the VOC (volatile organic compounds) content, but this stuff missed the boat. The smell lingers for hours, which I suppose depends on temperature and humidity.Except for the smell, it works very well to protect delicate drawings from smudging. A light coat is enough. A light coat doesn't distort or change the texture of the paper I'm using. Like just about every kind of spray paint, this is easiest to apply with finesse if you use one of the handles that are sold for these cans.Only time ( maybe more than I have left) will tell if it truly does help to prevent UV yellowing and oxidation.I'll buy it again, at least until I find a less stinky alternative.

This stuff is amazing. Gives a gorgeous, super glossy coat to any project and it's self-leveling so you know it will always turn out perfect. I read another review that said it doesn't work well as a glue at all. Well, it's not glue, so why would anyone expect it to? But this stuff has taken drip and splatter paintings that I've done that looked ok and made them look amazing. The super glossy coat just really brings out all the colors and makes them shine. I always keep this on hand now.

if i could give a red warning star i would. i used half a can on a pastel painting with no affect, i couldnt add any more layers no matter how much spray i used, how long i left to dry etc etc. i started with small amounts and gradually increased, NOTHING WORKED!! Really dissapointed with this expensive product, will never buy again a hope no one else does either!
