Perfect in-race/in-run nutrition for my running. I eat one about every 3 miles during long runs and the results are spectacular. FOR ME it's the perfect blend of energy + calories + protein + electrolytes. Not to mention the awesome caffeine kick. BONUS: delicious chocolate/coffee flavor.I COULD NOT RUN WITHOUT THESE THINGS!

If you love coffee but don’t want to have coffee before your run, this is a great form of fuel for you while training!!! I use the Espresso Love gu’s on the second half of my long run, both as my fuel and as an energy boost with the caffeine. Love the taste - and I think the texture goes down smoother than some of the other flavors Gu makes.

This vanilla GU has been a staple in my long runs and marathon training for several years now. This is the only energy gel that tastes good, goes down smoothly, and doesn’t cause any GI upset. You definitely get an energy boost 10-15 minutes after ingesting. Packets are small and easy to put in pockets or belt. Make sure to take with a sip of water or Gatorade to enhance digestion of product and prevent GI upset!

Espresso Love absolutely has my love. Easy to open and use while running and feels like it starts "hitting" my system within about 10 minutes or so after consuming the package. I will typically take one GU right before a workout or in the race corral right before the race gun. Then if it's a training run, I'll take one every 4 miles of the run or every 2 aid stations during a race. It works very well to keep me as energized as possible during long runs and races and I've not found anything that works better for me. The only problem is that you need to make sure the packets are close to your body when doing runs in the cold or the packets will become very viscus.

La consistencia del gel es muy espesa para mi gusto, debo tomar agua después de tomarme un gel o me queda una sensación en la boca como de haber comido chocolate. El sabor es bueno pero creo que intentaré con sabores frutales para la próxima.

I’m using this in marathon training. Good consistency. However I prefer their salted caramel version better
