POWER KLEEN is the only product recommended to clean K&N cotton media filters—the use of any other cleaning solution can void the filter’s warranty, and can potentially cause damage to the filtration material. Never use gasoline to clean your cotton media filter, as it can cause the filter media to degrade. Do not use on polished or anodized aluminum.

But beware. There are no instructions. I think what you have to do is spray liberally, let it sit for a little while and rinse it off with water. Let it dry and apply the K&N oil. At least that worked for me.But what the bottle does state not get any on your clothes or skin and if you do, rinse off immediately. So wear the appropriate protection. But it seems that for this application, the product should be a little more friendly? At least it’s not in a pressurized can that would likely go all over the place.

No damage , it was very easy to use to claim my air filter on my 98,000 mile car which is a 17 Malibu LT. Took it out last night cleaned it overnight and install it the next morning. Car run right now no complaints no issues. Wish I had a board, all the others.

スクーターエアフィルター清掃用に
昨年交換したフィルター清掃用に購入です。以前は中性洗剤で洗っていましたが、専用品のこちらの商品のほうが汚れの落ちが良いようです。フィルターも小さいので１０回くらいは使えそうですが半年に１回の清掃でも５年かかりますが、そのとき性能がもっているかは？ですね・・・

This product works perfectly but with some research you can find a product just as good for cheaper. Works great, just overpriced.
