POWER KLEEN is the only product recommended to clean K&N cotton media filters—the use of any other cleaning solution can void the filter’s warranty, and can potentially cause damage to the filtration material. Never use gasoline to clean your cotton media filter, as it can cause the filter media to degrade. Do not use on polished or anodized aluminum.

I have purchased 2 K&N filters a year ago and I love them. For the money you pay for a paper filter from the part store you save over time and yes you do get better gas mileage. As far as the kit K&N sells the cleaner and the oil its $10.00 which is not bad but given you really need to get the filter clean you need to use quite a bit of the cleaner. This gallon size is very economical and will last quite a while. Very happy with the purchase.

I have used this product for quite a while on my reusable hoe HVAC filters. It works well. But the large refill jug did not come with the spray head cap as shown in the photos.

This product really loosens the sludge & nastiness that builds-up on my K&N air filters for the engine. It then easily Wash's away with hot water, then dried out in the sun, With NO DAMAGE, to the existing K&N filters that I'm using on my machines. I guess my only complaint- is that I did not buy a 5 gallon pale of this yet, to re-fill the smaller containers that I have... Keep up the good work!!!

Works as it should to get clean and like it being cheaper because I’m more likely to clean on a regular basis not worrying about whether or not I have it. It’s waiting. Wish they could do the same dispenser for oil. But I found a sprayer to work for it. Great products.
