5.0 out of 5 stars It’s anti-seize
Good product, good price, it does get messy, wear gloves. I mainly use if on spark plugs.
5.0 out of 5 stars Works as Designed - Temperature Rating is Higher than regular ant-seize :-)

5.0 out of 5 stars Learned that stainless screws into aluminum do better with nickel
Have used anti-seize for decades. Live in a corrosive New England climate and nearly every nonstructural bolt or screw on a car or mower gets anti-seize! Never heard of nickel-based product before having to work on a 2003 Thunderbird's valve covers. Wanted to replace steel with stainless screws and in researching, read that nickel is optimal. For the homeowner DIY like me, this bottle could last forever. Rated a 2 for 'easy to remove' because, like all anti-seize products, it is messy to clean up mistakes. I also use it between brake rotors and hubs - just a little bit where the metals meet, but carefully between the wheel lugs--never ever on the wheel lugs (or wheel bolts for some cars) because lug nuts could loosen or be over-torqued when installed.Very high quality Permatex brand. Quite pleased.
5.0 out of 5 stars Must Have for the Garage
I had to order another one of these because this product works and does the job. I have a snowblower, lawn mower electric sit-down car for my daughter. These items get wet and I have seen the rust from previous ownership and my neighbors equipment. I used this product and I have never had any seizing due to rust.Main reason is that his product contains Nickel which will not rust; not like other products that have copper. When i maintain my items I always check on the moving parts like the wheel areas and still no rust and they are so easy to remove when i work on my items. My daughter rides here little electric car in the neighborhood and she always finds the puddles. But when daddy cleans up her little car i always check the wheel assemblies and always good to go.My snowblower is another item I work on every year along with my lawn mower and all the wheel assemblies slide off easily. Get this product, make sure it contains Nickel and protect your investments.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great for suppressors
Had a problem with suppressor quick mounts getting carbon locked. This fixed that problem.
5.0 out of 5 stars The best
Go with the best, nickel is the best
5.0 out of 5 stars Does not seize
Bought for a tapered suppressor mount to keep the mating surfaces from carbon locking, works well for the application and the heat seems to not bother it. Just use sparingly, it likes to stain things.
5.0 out of 5 stars Better than copper
This is what you want to use for anything that’s going to get real hot. Nickel anti-seize can withstand much more than copper anti-seize. Use it in anything turbo or exhaust related. Spark plugs too.I used it on downpipe brackets, exhaust manifold studs, and turbo mount bolts on a 575 hp Ecoboost F150 with a big turbo setup and every other high performance upgrade that goes with it. After 6k miles parts looked like they were installed yesterday.
Greatly superior to copper anti seize
There is a reason nickel anti seize is used on new O2 sensors. I have experience of Loctite and Bostik nickel products and have found them to be greatly superior to copper anti seize. This appears to be of a similar high quality. Although I cannot rate the long term anti seize qualities, I have found it resists disassembly galling of high temperature parts very well. Had I used copper anti seize, experience tells me I'd have been lucky to get it apart again, even with heating. Despite a high purchase cost, it has already paid for itself.
Protect Your Engine From Spark Plug "Freeze"
Putting an untreated spark plug into your engine can cause it to freeze into place so when you try to remove it damage can occur to the engine threads. Permatex Nickel is designed to provide lubrication in high temperature areas such as an engine (Silver and Copper versions are for lower temperature applications so read the labels). Put a little dab on the spark plug, run your finger around making sure there is only enough to fill the threads. Always use a torqure wrench when putting in plugs. A 3/8" drive covering 10 lbs to 80lbs will cover pretty much everything. With this Permatex product, easy in and easy out!
Good stuff
I've used permatex products before, primarily for brake caliper slide pins and on the side of the pads. This product though was recommended to me as I am using some stainless steel nuts and bolts and this is said to prevent galling of the threads during assembly and any subsequent disassembly. Apparently the Nickel content is what works some magic. The nice thing is that it comes with a brush attached to the lid to help with application. Unfortunately, like all other anti-seize greases, it magically gets on your hands and fingers despite the brush! Seriously though, it works well and I would buy it again in a flash but I think this one jar will go a long way. Excellent product.
