Not a fan of snake oil additives, but years ago tried lucas power steering conditioner on my 98 Chev pick up that’s has an expensive hydraulic sensor to vary the power steering assist, also fixed a couple of steering racks with morning sickness. So when my jack developed leak and was leking down figured give it try. Drained jack, flushed with alcohol and put in fresh hydraulic oil with the Lucas. Took about 3 days but leaked stop and jack doesn’t leak down.

5.0 out of 5 stars great product
had a leak in my hydraulic pump one my 150 yamaha motor stopped the leak no problems since
4.0 out of 5 stars I was expecting the tip to be useful
It's not unless you puncture it, but I plan on keeping in my vehicle for emergency jack repair so I recommend this company creat a twist tip or I will be forced to look for elsewhere.
5.0 out of 5 stars I didn't really believe the reviews but it's true
I had read a review of this product on a Youtube site about fixing leaky power lifts for outboard motors, which used the word "miraculous". I had a chronic leak on my outboard power lift, and the product was not expensive so I thought I'd try it. It was indeed miraculous!! Totally fixed. I could hardly believe it. Just be patient, it does not go through pumps as fast as regular fluid. I NEVER write reviews but I had to this time.
5.0 out of 5 stars Wow this so far has sealed my leaking slave cylinder
I have a 89 jeep with a terrible designed clutch slave cylinder located within the bell housing of the transmission. It wasn't holding pressure and the clutch pedal went to the floor. figured I had nothing to loose if it didn't work I was going to have to drop the transmission anyway. Well i added a little of this to the clutch fluid and six months later no leaks and a solid clutch pedal. I highly recommend trying this.

Great product
I have a 1986 Amman twin drum roller. When I bought it There was various hydraulic electrical and mechanical issues.Anyway I worked my way though them as a project over a 6 month period, everything fixed working perfect so just give it a coat of paint and ready to put it to work. The last job was to fit new clamps to the engine cover so I purchased some here on Bolo they arrived I went in the work shop to fit them to see a puddle of hydraulic fluid under the machine. "Gutted" anyway after a quick look it was apparent it was coming from the steering unit the fluid was travelling up the column then running down the outside and eventually to the floor. It was a constant flow and to get to this part isn't easy. The machine is old and I didn't really want to spend lots on it so after a little research I learnt there was various addictive product that may help.To be honest considering how much fluid was coming out I had my doubts but thought it was worth a go, as I'm unsure considering the age of the machine I'd be able to get a replacement part.In the bottle it says to add between 5 and 10%It has a 20L hydraulic tank so I initially put in a bottle which is approximately 5%.To my amazement it reduced the flow within about 10mins considerably.I left the machine running about 30mins whereby it was now a very small leak. The next morning I came out still a small leak so I decided to try some more so now I have approximately 7% addictive after another 30mins of running leak has gone.Obviously early days but all I can advise is this product appears to work. It also suggests it can be used as a preventative measure I have 3 other pieces of plant here varying in age so think I'll buy some more.Definitely worth a try befor a potentially expensive repair
