Casio Men's Basic Black Digital Watch
Casio
With the launch of its first watch in November 1974, Casio entered the wristwatch market at a time when the watch industry had just discovered digital technology. As a company with cutting-edge electronic technology developed for pocket calculators, Casio entered this field confident that it could develop timepieces that would lead the market.
Today, Casio is focusing its efforts on solar-powered radio-controlled watches: the built-in solar battery eliminates the nuisance of replacing batteries, atomic timekeeping means the users never have to reset the time. Recently, Casio launched a series of Bluetooth watches that sync to the users cell phone to automatically update the time. Casio is always moving time forward.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great bright light
This is an overall great watch. I had a Casio like this one but it must have been a model from before this one, and that one I did not like because it's light was green-ish and it was truly hard to see the display in the light. But this one's light is quite opposite. It is bright and maybe just a bit too much. But too bright might be better than not bright enough. I never took this watcch off, and from never ever ever taking it off, one of the straps did break off, but that was to be expected. I will be getting that fixed very soon. This watch is great, for the price, it's quite good. Use it in hot humid weathers and condensation is never a problem. It is not fancy, if that is what you are looking at.But I am giving this champ 5 stars forResistance and quality, meaning that giving the fact that I NEVER EVER EVER take it off, and the fact that it stays nice and clear, no condensation, weather in pools, or waters with stuff in it, it does not break down, timer stays accurate, screen stays clear.Size: love the fact that is is not something big and clunky.Comfort: Being on a PC all day using mouse, mousepads hurt with those mouse foams. But with this small light straps, don't bother much (maybe that also contributed to one strap falling off).Discrete: since it is nice and small, it does not get in the way with snug fitting sleeves of jackets, blazers and shirts.R
5.0 out of 5 stars Love This Simple Classic Casio Watch
This is a simple, light-weight, dependable, inexpensive wrist watch with a rubber-like band. Not trendy or elegant. I love this watch. I've been wearing it for more than 30 years. Multi-functional time, date, running timer and more settings. When the long-lasting batteries die, I throw out the old watch and put on a new one. I always have at least one in reserve.
5.0 out of 5 stars Tells time. Does its job.
Photo so that other users can tell what the watch looks like on a "regular sized" wrist.I found this watch to be easy to set without needing to consult the instructions. Time is consistent and hasn't sped up/slowed down with time. Water resistance has been appreciated. Classic style, no regrets on this purchase.
4.0 out of 5 stars Great watch with classic style
I owned a Casio F105W-1A Illuminator identical to this one that I bought at Walmart at retail for $22 in 2011, *not* the $55 that this watch supposedly lists for. I wore it daily for over two years until the band tore from use. I wear my watches slightly tighter than most people do and this may have caused stress on the band. It kept time for another year until sporadically dying, so the battery life on this model was 3 1/2 years for me. That watch may have been sitting on the rack for years before I picked it up, which would explain the short battery life. Keeps time very well and loses maybe a couple minutes over several months. Classic Casio styling, the original F105W was released in 1995 or 1996 if I recall correctly. The only issue I have with this Casio Illuminator I bought off Bolo is that the display is slightly weaker than I remember it being on my old one and the illumination function is somewhat less bright. This doesn't make the watch illegible by any means but it is something I've noticed. I hope it's not due to a weak battery that is going to die soon but so far after over six months it still works great. For $14 with free shipping the price can't be beat for a classic watch that should last you years.
5.0 out of 5 stars Value, efficient, not an ugly watch at all!!
It’s a simple watch. No complicated settings. It tells time well and is flawless in design. I don’t dunk the watch in a swimming pool but it is resistant to water. For $20 it’s a good investment. It’s fairly attractive. Has a nice light to light up at night if you wish. It’s not imposing. If you find the need to tell the time in Tokyo and impress your friends then perhaps this is not the watch for you. When did men decide that $200 divers watches that add weight to your wrist that have diamonds in them was the way to go? These are the watches I grew up with. My stores were Kmart and Sears.I love this watch!!
5.0 out of 5 stars Could possibly be the greatest watch ever made.
Incredibly durable, the backlight is bright, the display is great, the time is accurate, it's easy to set, the water resistance is fantastic, it's incredibly light(22.22g), the band is durable and comfortable, the alarm and stopwatch work as expected, the alarm sound is a good volume, no other watch has these features at this weight, 10/10.
5.0 out of 5 stars Actually water-resistant to 10m (providing no buttons are pressed at that depth)
More durable than it has any right being at this price. When people say "they don't make 'em like they used to" this is the type of product to which they're comparing whatever the shoddy modern equivalent is.
3.0 out of 5 stars Not for large wrists
It seems nice for a very inexpensive watch, but it looks tiny on my large (7 3/4”) wrists. I intended to put this on a nato strap, but was just would have looked weird as it is very small.
Very good for price
It is light weight, the band is comfortable unlike those weird curved bands on a lot of other Casio watches. It is easy to read and easy to figure out the buttons. It works perfectly fine after being in water. If you have big wrists you might want to find a bigger size though. Really good beater watch, first watch or casual watch. Would recommend.
Excelente produto, chegou muito bem embalado.
