LOCTITE Silver Anti-Seize Lubricant is a heavy-duty, temperature-resistant, petroleum-based lubricant compound fortified with graphite and metallic flake. Will not evaporate or harden in extreme cold or heat. Use during assembly to prevent seizing, galling, and corrosion. For use in assemblies up to 1600°F (871°C).

I had to do a coolant system refurb on my Jeep WJ 4.0. The main problem was a worn out fan clutch but it was leaking around the water pump too.I did the "while you're in there's" too so water pump, fan clutch, thermostat, thermostat housing, heater hose pipe and Fel-Pro upgraded gaskets with Honda-Bond RTV Silicone sealant and a new serpentine belt too.Everything worked great but to get the old fan clutch off I had to cut the nut part that screws on to the water pump shaft. I used a new Milwaukee M18 Orbital Super Sawzall, my reward for doing this DIY job.I didn't want to buy the Sawzall but after trying two parts store rental fan clutch removal tools with absolutely zero success, I got medieval on it. 15 minutes and two saw blades later the repair could proceed.The lower fan shroud fasteners are another pain in the ass for that job but after that, no big deal.After carefully cleaning all of the gasket surfaces and applying a reasonable amount of Hondabond, everything reassembled easily, I put the old hoses back in place refilled the system and burped it.Now my engine temperature stays right at 195 I think and beside warming up, the needle never budges.Before it would overheat if I wasn't traveling at 45mph+ and I had to add coolant almost every time I drove. That was mostly the fan clutch causing that but everything I used to fix it is working perfectly so far.

Too Full !!! If that can be a complaint. No seriously... I have a hard time getting the dobber brush from the container without it having too much anti-seize on it. I solved the problem by putting some of this new product in an old can of anti-seize I was replacing. I like the silver anti-seize and am a nut about cleaning old bolts and nuts and using anti-seize when reassembling automotive items. This product is very similar to the one I am replacing after using it for several years.

Some have said the bottle is not full enough. If it was actually full this would be super messy on the included brush.If i wanna be picky, ill say i wish the aplicator was a sponge instead of a hair brush because the hairs stick out everywhere.Good product 💯

When I work on my own vehicles I like to wire wheel the bolts clean and then apply anti-seize lube when I put them back together. So if I'm ever stuck disassembling it a second time it comes off real easy.

Great Anti-Seize But Be Careful
This is definitely excellent anti-seize. Far easier to apply than some of the other higher-heat range products on the market though this stuff is very messy, especially when the jar is new as the brush tends to hold onto a lot of the product at once and it easily spreads to your fingers/hands while applying it (highly suggest wearing disposable gloves when using this). That said, I've used my jar on countless bolts, still have plenty left for my uses and considering the jar cost less than some from a local big box retailer that is harder to use, I can't recommend this Loctite silver anti-seize enough.
