(function(){ P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function'){ A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })() We use this product when cleaning up vehicles after repairs. Not overly glossy and after a bit drys to a satin finish. Makes the tires almost look as if they are new. Works well and will definitely buy more.
5.0 out of 5 stars Works great
We have a small manufacturing business that have items that are powder coated. We needed a product that would work in that environment. It works great on rubber mat and cleans it up very nicely. It also isn't too shiny.
1.0 out of 5 stars Allergic reaction & NO SHINE
If it comes in contact with your skin, expect an allergic reaction. Also does not make tire shine. Worst tire dressing I've ever used. Only rated 1 because I had to.
4.0 out of 5 stars It’s ok
I got only because it’s silicone free , it doesn’t have a great shine , you can see the streaks , it’s ok for my work truck
5.0 out of 5 stars Makes plastic and rubber parts look like new.
Great for detailing plastic and rubber parts on automobiles. Smells great and doesn't leave a greasy film that attracts dust like other products.
5.0 out of 5 stars Safer for the enviroment
Spray on and then wipe on the tire with a wax applicator pad and let dry a few minutes. It holds up as well as any of the other tire dressings.
2.0 out of 5 stars Really strong odor
Two stars because of the really strong odor and the "high gloss" claimed in the description is only achievable if you don't wipe off the excess after applying, but if you don't wipe off the excess, it will be slightly tacky to the touch and will smear if you touch it, even a week or two after application. So I wipe off the excess and end up with a deep, slightly-more-than matte shine. This is good for the trim, but I want a shine for my tires. The dressing seems to last a long time on the trim and wheel wells, it's been about 6 weeks since I applied it (with lots of rain and snow), and it seems to resist or hide dirt, dust, and pollen, which is currently covering my car's paint. Also, it does not streak after it rains. The low sheen lasts less on the tires, about 3 weeks. Before I applied this to the tires, I used a rubber and vinyl cleaner from Carpro, to ensure that I'd have good adhesion of the dressing. That took about 45 minutes per tire and associated wheel well. A few sprays on the tires, 5 minutes of scrubbing with a brush, and then rinsed - repeated about a half dozen times until the suds were no longer brown and turned white. I did the same with the wheel wells, except I used a microfiber towel and wheel woolies brushes. Then I let the tires and trim air dry before applying the dressing.Extremely nauseating strawberry smell that makes me gag when applying, but I do not take notice the day after application. Make sure you use gloves. Take note that the description says this is for EXTERIOR surfaces. The smell is really awful if applied to the interior and will take a month to dissipate. Trust me. Before purchase, I got the MSDS from the manufacturer website, and all of the ingredients are listed as "low" or "none" for toxicity, flammable, etc, so I was surprised by the nauseating smell.Because of the odor, I will be shopping for another silicone-free dressing. My trim looks really great, but the odor when applying makes me gag. Silicone-free dressings are nice because they won't interfere with car paint jobs, won't streak after raining, are water-based, and are usually low in toxicity.
3.0 out of 5 stars Not what I was hoping for
I really enjoy taking care of my vehicles and keeping them looking like new. I have used the Meguiars Detailer professional line up of products for some time with good success. I decided to try the non silicone tire dressing because the regular dressings would make my painted garage floor very slippery and it is hard to get it washed off. I was disappointed that it leaves the tires blotchy and doesn't last long at all. I hate to admit it, but I went back to regular old Armor All tire protectant. It goes on evenly and lasts much longer.
