I am so pleased with this half slip, I will be going back to get another one. It fits me perfect for my plus figure and is very comfortable. The slide slit is one of the features I like very much, ease of movement and sitting. The beige color is good in case it shows when doing something, so it doesn't stand out like a sore thumb. It feels very good on and does not bunch at all. I like to wear skirts or dresses at home and I feel more polished, so to speak. I you do see the slit, the lace edge is good to show.

Love this comfortable half slip. Fits true to size. Great feeling fabric - does not cling to the clothes. The side slits are a great feature allowing full movement when wearing a skirt or dress. The length is just right. Nicely made.

Love this half slip. The side slit is great design. I went up a size after I checked the measurements, glad I did , no hugging , wanted it to hang away from my body. It’s not too thin , good weight , very nice quality . I may get it in another color.

Ok I only have 12 weeks left and I only need a slip for Sunday dresses. I did not want to pay the "maternity'' prices for what I needed for such a short time. Ultimately I chose this 20'' slip and love it. I'm 5ft tall, 28 weeks pregnant with a 44'' pregnant belly and 39'' natural waist. The size chart was weird but I ultimately went with the 3x. It sits perfectly at my natural waist, doesn't slide down and sits just above my knee. There is plenty of room for stretch. I could have sized down 1 or 2 sizes and been fine but I need the slip this Saturday for a wedding so no time for exchanges. If it's far to big post partum and slides, I will just pin it. I recommend this slip as an alternative to maternity and maternity prices.

I'm a bit torn about this review and would have liked to have given a 3.5. I bought this slip in an XL in black.Sort of positives: I wear either an L or an XL in underwear and wanted the slip to be loose and move around because it's hot where I live (Africa) and I also want more modesty. I find it is really big for an XL, so you might want to size down, unless you're looking for a slip that's practically a dirndl. It's not too huge, though, and the elastic is stretchy so that it fits my waist size and the fabric drapes softly (but not in a clingy way, not at all!) over my hips and legs, so it won't add unwanted bulk.Sort of negatives: The fabric is really, really thin and surprisingly sheer. Luckily for me, I bought black and it is quite loose and has a lot of extra fabric. So I am hoping it will do its job (which, for me, is preventing thinner skirts or dresses from showing my legs or other particulars). On the mitigated plus side, it will definitely be cool in the heat!Once again, I chose black, and I honestly doubt that this fabric in white or beige would work (i.e. provide any amount of opacity). I haven't washed it yet, so I don't know how it will hold up. I will try to come back with an update if it falls apart. I am expecting it will hold up, though, because I have bras and panties from Vanity Fair and they are all excellent quality, so perhaps this is just a fabric that is thin, but strong. I would be shocked otherwise. Time will tell.

The slip is what I needed, only on line can you get this. Sad stores don’t carry things that use to just be a given. It’s a simple nylon slip that works perfect under a long gown for a wedding. Came on time, perfect, great value.

Slips from Vanity Fair have been in my lingerie drawers for decades. They don't seem to wear out--I just need a different length or color every once in a while. They feel comfortable on the skin, don't curl over at waist, and are amply sized. They have just the right ripple, gather, and A-line shape. They don't make me sweat and allow air flow. Why are they so hard to find in all the colors and all the lengths and all the sizes?

Length not accurate
I ordered the 18" length and that is what was marked on the Vanity Fair bag it came in, however it was too short and I measured it at 16". Disappointing! I ordered 18" because I wanted that length.
