About this item:
Did you know that the air quality inside a vehicle can be up to SIX times worse than outside? Contaminated air conditioning and heater evaporator/cores can cause foul smelling, distracting deposits. Use KOOL-IT super foaming action to remove and neutralize the contaminates in air conditioning and heater systems of modern cars and trucks. KOOL-IT is released into the HVAC system and its super foaming action flushes out and neutralizes unwanted contaminants.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing product!
Had a moldy wet smell in my tesla. Read about people using this product. Replaced cabin air filter and used this and smelled amazing again. True life saver and easy to use.
5.0 out of 5 stars It works well but buy 2 cans
The product cured the smelly AC in my 2019 S5. It was tricky to use because of my car’s design but it totally removed the stinky smell from the car.Highly recommend
4.0 out of 5 stars worked well, but not as expected
I recently tried this AC coil cleaner on my Audi Q5, and it worked just as promised. It effectively got rid of the major odor that had built up in the AC system. Using the product was straightforward, though the instructions could have been a bit clearer, but I had no trouble figuring it out.For the price, it’s a pretty high considering the results. The cleaner’s scent wasn’t too strong, and it faded quickly from the car vents. Pairing it with new cabin air filters will have your car smelling as fresh as the day you bought it.Overall, I’m really happy with how it worked and would recommend it to anyone dealing with unpleasant AC odors in their vehicle.
5.0 out of 5 stars Ideal for auto air filter replacement
Followed an instructional YouTube video on replacing the cabin air filters myself in my Tesla Model Y which recommended this product. (I also purchased a clip removal tool kit which was a good move.) Easy to use and works exactly as described. After removing the old filters, simply insert the hose inside the filter housing and spray. The foam will liquify and then drip out the bottom of the vehicle. There is no odor whatsoever--which is great because solvents can often leave residual odors. I had some cardboard scrap ready to put under the drip so it wouldn't stain the floor of my garage. I used half the container on one car and saved the rest for the other car.
5.0 out of 5 stars Works just like advertised
I recently used this AC coil cleaner on my Tesla Model 3, and it worked exactly as described. It effectively eliminated the stale smell that had developed in my car's AC system. The product was easy to use, even though the instructions could have been clearer. However, figuring it out wasn't difficult. The cost of the vent cleaner was very cost-effective, making it a great value for the results it delivers. Additionally, the smell of the cleaner itself wasn't overwhelming, and it didn't linger in the car vents for long after use. Pair this product with replacement cabin air filters and you car will be smelling just like it did off the lotOverall, I'm very satisfied with the results and would recommend this cleaner to anyone dealing with unpleasant odors in their car's AC system.
3.0 out of 5 stars Solution works well, but the canister & nozzle is poorly designed
Used this on my car's AC while changing the filters out too since it was smelling a bit odd due to condensation. The solution worked well and no complaints there, it does lose two stars though since the cap that goes to the top of the can isn't properly designed to handle the foam solution that comes out. While I was spraying the can it was foaming all over the top nozzle portion and spraying all over the liner of my car and became a bit of a pain to clean up. At least the solution smelt good so no complaints there! Could definitely have been due to a faulty can design and maybe I just got a bad egg.
5.0 out of 5 stars Smells a bit like window cleaner
Seems to work. First vehicle, the foam went up the AC drain tube easily. Second vehicle had the drain tube blocked, so took a bit to fish the cleaner tube up the drain tube. Finally got the foam to blow in. Followed instructions on the can. Takes about 3 days for window cleaner odor to dissipate.
1.0 out of 5 stars Nice concept, but it didn't help
The good: It has a straw that helps get it to the coil. The bad: 1) I purchased two cans of the Lubegard Kool-It Evaporator & Heater Foam cleaner. 2) The can contains only 6 ounces of 'foaming' cleaner. 3) It didn't help.(The first time:) I purchased this product on Bolo and I followed the packaging directions and online videos by the manufacturer and put the provided straw up the A/C drain of my vehicle. I shook the can well and dispensed it all into the tube. I used a borescope inspection camera with a light and I removed the blower motor from my vehicle and put the borescope through that hole to monitor the foam hitting the coil. The camera verified that it covered the coil, then I let it sit for about 30 minutes and ran the A/C as instructed to "self-rinse" the product off with the AC system. I do feel like the can was more liquid than foam, though. I did shake the can well before using.I feel as if the smell got worse.(The second time:) I bought another can of this same product through a local retailer that sold the same product, thinking, maybe I just needed to do it again. This was about 3 weeks later. This time, I used the borescope camera to apply the foam on the coil from above and not through the drain hose. I followed all the directions provided and let the vehicle sit for about 30 minutes, then ran it to self-rinse the product off with the AC system.I still feel that the coil smells as bad, if not worse.I wish there was a better way to access these coils rather than having to tear apart the entire dashboard. I have checked the entire dash with the camera, and it is clear.Anyhow, for $16-20/each for 6 oz. of cleaning product, I don't feel like it contains enough cleaner for the price. I should have shopped around more.Good luck with your A/C systems. Hopefully you have a better experience than I have.
