This cologne is different to a lot of the colognes I've had in the past, in a good way. It has a very unique masculine, almost citrus like scent that I can't pin point. But I've gotten a lot of compliments from using it.

When reaching for Issey Miyake’s L’eau d’Issey this morning, I was reminded of one of my favorite songs, “Hello, Old Friend” by Eric Clapton. BTW – thank you Mr. Clapton for such a beautiful song. L’eau d’Issey has been around for over 20 years and continues to be a mainstay in my collection. This fragrance is a beautiful composition of citrus, floral, and herbal notes that is truly a classic. Today, this legend performed like a 20 year-old rock star should – lasting 10+ hours with a projection or sillage greater than arm’s length. One of the true beauties of L’eau d’Issey is the flexibility and versatility of the fragrance. Even now that we are well into Fall in South Carolina, I feel comfortable wearing d’Issey to reminisce of Spring and Summer. Additionally, with the presence of the citrus and floral notes, I would pitch this men’s fragrance is closer to being unisex – women can easily pull this off. I agree with most reviewers this fragrance is geared more for day wear, but again, I feel comfortable wearing to most events.While there have been several flankers of the original, and all have a little different twist, the DNA can be traced back to the legend. There is no substitute..!! Pricing is affordable and can easily fit into any budget. All said, my final tally for Issey Miyake’s L’eau d’Issey is 4.5 stars out of 5 stars. This is one of the greatest designer fragrances ever made and should be added to any collection. This recommendation also comes with a solid “Love” for the Fragrantica following. The legend lives..Enjoy your day and happy fragrance hunting…

Since it's launch, I've always had a bottle around. Over the years, I collected all the summer collection hut always go back to this particular one. It can be over powering but what I have learned over the years is that I can also tone it down if I mix with other cologne or even better the 1992 classic Issey Miyake Women to give it that Unisex Vibe. Since it's a little old for these young ones, iam glad that they keep stopping me to ask what am I wearing cause iam not smelling like the overly priced commonly bought new ones and their dupes everyone is wearing. R.I.P Issey Miyake. I will forever love and support your work ❤️

暑い夏につけやすいです。柚子の香りは爽やかで嫌がられにくいです。オードトワレは香りの持続性が気になりますね。私も持続性が気になり香水はオードパルファムばかり選んでいましたが、暑い日はオードトワレの残り香くらいが心地良いと思いました。冬場にもオードトワレを選んでみようと視野を広げてくれた名作です。
