So here is the PSA this variant is not sugar coated and will taste different. This product has a gum base an minty oils added, so it behaves like gum and delivers nicotine, but it is NOT the same as their coated gums which most people buy. It still work, it’s definitely not fake, if you’re trying to avoid the sweeteners this is the gum for you. Don’t forget that nicotine gum isn’t even supposed to be chewed like normal gum, the coating definitely helps you get into the habit of chewing it like a normal gum while this variant might help you break that habit because the texture isn’t necessarily the same an fits more into the box of how nicotine gum should be used.Now does this work for smoking or just replace the habit? I feel like it’s hard to say. I definitely prefer this product over smoking any form of anything and have been using it pretty long term while I am at work, so definitely a habit replacement for me.Hopefully this helps ~

I've bitten my tongue 5 days straight because these pieces are so tiny. The foil sticks to the gum unlike the coated pieces. Taste disappears quick

I’ve been using the ice mint Nicorette to wean myself from tobacco addiction. I bought these because they were cheaper. Well, you get what you pay for, eh? These are horrible tasting pieces of rubbery good with no texture and very poor taste. I’ll save these for an emergency stash once I’m done tapering. They’ll remind me why I am quitting! Soggy flavorless pieces of soggy cardboard would taste better!

I was a hardcore smoker for many years. 30 cigarettes a day for 30 years. I tried to quit many times but I was too hooked. The patch failed because it was too on or off for me. When I chew a 2 mg Nicorette, I feel like I just smoked a cigarette. At my level of smoking, they say that I should be using 4 mg, but 2 mg is very satisfying for me. 4 mg would be too much. So I gradually replaced my cigarettes with Nicorette. At first Nicorette tastes bad, but as anyone will tell you who has chewed it for a while, you learn to like the taste. I eventually got off cigarettes completely with Nicorette. I haven't had a cigarette in over 10 years!!! The bad news...I am addicted to Nicorette...more addicted than I was to cigarettes...there are many of us out there... But....Nicorette is MUCH safer than cigarettes, no cancer, no COPD, no heart atttacks...so if Nicorette gets me off cigarettes, I'll take that deal, I'll trade a Nicorette addiction for a cigarette addiction. I will live a lot longer, but it will be expensive.

I don't why they had to change it. The new formula is less flavorful, less soft, harder to get out of the package. No good. Go back to old. I never comment on anything, but this was annoying.
