I bought this to replace an almost identical model made by this company that I have had for approximately 20 years. The original still works well and I only replaced it because a portion of the on/off switch broke off. I can still turn the original on/off switch, but thought I deserved a new one after all this time! This iron does not come with a lot of bells and whistles-you cannot adjust the temperature and there are no fancy lights/ electronics on it. The reason I love this product is because it gets hot very quickly and because it works well when traveling overseas. A lot of flat irons do not work overseas, even with adapters/converters. This one (at least my original one; I have not tried this new one yet) does. I am hopeful that this iron will last as long as my original one has!

I am a licensed hairstylist. This is a great go to hair iron for everyday use at home even though its a professionally used one. It curls beautifully and portable enough to take out of town also. Years ago you paid at least minimum $100 so this is a really great price. Jump on it yall!

I am not very conviced about this flat iron. I have thin hair and I feel the default temperature (Which can not be change) it is way too hot and may damage my hair longterm.

Parece que si es original, solo note un poco de desfase en las placas. Calienta muy rapido y la compre a un precio muy bueno. No tiene la clavija de botones, pero he visto que ya no les ponen esas clavijas y no por eso significa que no sea original. Hasta ahora estoy satisfecha
Still the best
We started with the CHI years ago then switched to another brand for a while. After returning to the CHI with this purchase I can honestly say it’s still the best.It heats up crazy fast and it’s just so smooth to use. Never pulls hair and straightens fast — one pass is usually enough.It’s not nearly as fancy as some of the other brands but it does its job the best.
Bought for my wife
I bought this for my wife and she loved it. She was able to style her hair the way she wanted to finally. I know that going to the hair stylist can be super pricy, so I was looking for a way to help save her some money. I am glad I got this as she still says to this day how much "she" saves by using it. It does make her look pretty (she always does regardless to me), but more importantly is makes her feel pretty too! It came super fast and in great condition too. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to style their hair and maybe save some money in the long run too!
